Koz-man, becareful man. The Reds are hot right now. They are hitting the all extremely well and have been doing it real well against lefties. over the last five games the Reds are hitting .291 against lefties while averaging 8.53 runs per nine innings against lefties over that span. They really should have won that game last night but Mike Leake was horrible. He was missing spots and the Phillies just took advantage of that. Philly struggles with Homer Baily also hitting just .198 against him. As a Philly fan I hope Lee has a good game but man tonight is going to be tough.
I am loking at Adam Wainwright tonight. Wainwright has been outstanding with his 3-0 mark the last 3 games in which he has a 1.64 ERA and a WHIP of 0.86. Wainwright loves pitching against the Astros. The guy is 5-0 his last 5 starts against Houston with a 0.98 ERA while averaging 6.2 k's per game and 7.33 innings pitched in those 5 games. We all know Houston struggles to hit the ball and they strikeout way too much. The only thing I am not liking is the Cards are struggling to hit the ball right now. St Louis is hitting just .162 the last 5 games against righties and are averaging just 1.12 runs per 9 innings over that span against righties. Its a tough call for me only because the other pitchers I was looking at was David Price who is going to cost way too much and Chris Tillman who has good numbers against Texas and is priced really cheap but Texas is a scary team they can open up that offense any given night.
I have to admit... I'm a Reds fan and when I posted about Lee it was part pissed (becaz Reds lost night before) and part jinx.
Although I really felt the Reds would have a tough night against Lee.
I did play Lee, but my hitters shit the bed.
jeep, I really enjoy reading your write ups. Good luck and keep up the great work!!!

Wainwright was outstanding last night. I needed that to since my hitters did ok but not great thanks to Wainwright I was able to cash.
Koz-man, thanks man! Lee was cruising their for a while but that Reds offense is dangerous and they caught up to him. As a Reds fan you have to feel good about them this season with how well that offense is doing and the one-two punch of Cueto and Latos with Chapman in the pen.
Back to the grind, I am looking at just the later games for tonight. lets hope I can find another stud like wainwright tonight.

Well looking at tonight's pitching matchups I am going to go with Kyle Loshe. Kind of a no brainer with how pathtic Houston is but their is more to it then that. Loshe is 6-1 at home this season with a 2.20 ERA and a WHIP of 1.10. Over the last 3 games Loshe is 1-0 with a 0.46 ERA, WHIP of 1.02, averaging 6 K's per game and 6.4 innings pitched the last 3 games. Loshe has decent numbers against Houston at home with a 3-2 mark a 2.06 ERA, averages 1.2 walks per game and 7 innings pitched thos 5 games aginst Houston. Houston continues to struggle against righties hitting just .192 the last 5 vs rigties and averaging just 0.92 runs per 9 innings the last 5 vs righites.
For me tonight it was either Loshe or Chris Sale, I went with Loshe due to matchup and price is right.

Well last night was a big night thanks to David Murphy, Jay Bruce and Adriene Beltre having big nights for me. Klye Loshe did exactly what i was looking for last night by going 7 innings with 3 K's and he got the win while alowing just 2 ER. For his price last night that was what I wanted out of him and he got it for me. The 51.25 points I scored on fanduel was one of my highest this season. I would love to have more nights like that.
Well today's card is not very big and I really don't know if I am going to make any plays for today. There are only three pitchers I like (Hanson, Hamels an Cueto). I don't know what I am going to do yet, I am leaving for vacation early early Saturday morning so I won't get any games in that day. I don't like missing two days in a week. I am going to mess around with some lineups and see if I can find something I like.

Well guys I just am not going to put any money down to play tonight with the small card. Im not wasting money on something I am just not very sure on. I played the freerolls on dailyjoust and Draftday but no money contests for me today. I did like Tommy Hanson but I don't like the fact that he faces a SF team coming off a sweep of their rival the Dodgers, they are playing with alot of confidence right now. Hamels and Cueto will face off against each other tonight and the price is high on both of them. I will definitly be playing tomorrow because Saturday will be my off day for traveling to our vacation destination.

Well guys for tonight I like two diferent pitchers. Jon Niese and Chad Billingsly. I am torn between the two of them right now. Both are priced pretty similiar on fanduel. I am leaning a bit more towards Niese only because of the Psychology factor that he gets redemption on a Houston team that beat him back on May 1st and also he gets the oppurtunity to end this Mets 5 game losing streak. Niese has been hot going 2-1 his last 3 with a 2.11 ERA and WHIP of 1.03. He is averaging 7 innings per game and almost 5 K's per game over that span. Doesn't hurt that his counterpart Jordan Lyles is 0-6 on the road this season with a 7.58 ERA in 9 road games. The Mets should be able to get out of there funk tonight against this Lyles kid and give Niese some run support.
Let's hope this works out for me tonight so I can start my vacation on a positive note tomorrow. I won't have any writeups tomorrow will be traveling al day. Hope everyone has a good night tonight and a solid day tomorrow and let's win some cash.

My pitchers I like today are gio or kuroda. Will probably go with gio since basically all the good hitters on the Phillies are lefties and he will probably get lots of ks
