Don't forget McCarthy is coming off the DL tonight. Time will tell whether its a really good price or terrible mistake. HAHA Konerko is out tonight though so that will help.

McCarthy looked real good up until his DL stint. I did hear though he will get yanked after about 80 to 90 pitches. They seem to want to ease him back in due to make sure he is healthy for their playoff run. WhiteSox are hitting just .194 against him, but that pitch count scared me off.

Looking at the salaries today, Adam Jones is very affordable and could put up nice fantasy numbers tonight.

I am leaning the cheap route tonight for pitching with Chris Tillman from Baltimore.He is not priced high at all over at Fanduel. I a going to take the gamble with him tonight. He has pitched well since July 4th when he started to see big league actions this season. Tillman is 5-1 with a 2.38 ERA. He has looked real good at home in two starts going 2-0 with a 2.02 ERA and a 1.12 WHIP. Baltimore is hitting the ball well right now in which they are avergaing almost 5 runs per game the last 7 games while going 6-1 over that span. I think they get to Mendoza tonight and give Tillman plenty of run support.

Trumbo had the day off? Pujols and Trout seem to not be worth a very high price as of now. Seems like they are tripping through the chill zone. Maybe the entire Angels offense.

opie, I have to wonder at times if I should just go back to handicaping games. This daily fantasy baseball stuff gives me a headache at times. This is my first year playing daily fantasy baseball and I can not believe how many different angles you have to look at to get a team to place in the money. I have handicapped for plenty of years and my mind has never been as exhausted as it is with playing this daily stuff.

No excuses from me but Tillman looked like garbage last night. Somehow I was still able to place in the money in a 20 person 50/50 on fanduel. I am shocked. I do though feel he got thrown out of his groove due to the long delay they had before that game started. I know when I played I was around plenty of pitchers who got into a groove before the game warming up and carry that over to game time. Just a bad call by me last night, I even checked the weather yesterday and It didn't seem like their was going to be a delay. I guess that is why I am not a weather man.

Scott Diamond looks to be my guy on the mound tody. Diamond has been great at home this season with a 6-2 record with a 2.44 ERA and 1.01 WHIP.Over the last three games Diamond is 2-1 with a 1.93 ERA and 0.81 WHIP.He will face a hot TB team today but Tampa has been doing their damage against right handers.TB is hitting .250 the ast 5 games against lefities wile averaging just 2.57 runs per 9 innings against lefties over that span. Diamond has been solid pitching during the day this season with a 5-1 record in 8 starts and a 2.06 ERA and 1.06 WHIP. Minnesota is no slouch they can hit the ball, lets hope they can get to James Shields today and give Diamond some run support.

Pangea, Beavan's price is right but I don't know if I would take him. He faces a TB team that is hot right now. TB has won 6 straight while averaging 6.2 runs per game during this 6 game winning streak. You always have to look at the pitcher who is facing Houston. Samardzjia could be a nice play. Make sure you watch the weather there in Chicago, I saw there is a possibility of some rain and check what way the wind is blowing. If that wind is blowing out the total is going to be high due to the ball flying out of there then.They have not posted a Total yet but just keep an eye out, don't want to get involved with that if the ball is flying out.

Dodger, Wilson needs to have a big game tonight. The Angels have just lost back to back games at home to Seattle and are winners of just 3 of their last 10 games. He needs to get this team going back in the right direction if they want to make the playoffs. It is not like they are not hitting the ball either they have scored less than four runs just 3 times out of the last 10 games with 5 of those ten they scored 6 or more runs. The pitching needs to step it up and that will be Wilsons job tonight. Doesn't hurt either that this cleveland team is hitting just .179 for a career against Wilson and the Indians have just two guys hitting above .300 the last 7 games. Cleveland has not hit lefties either very well this season. Cleveland doesn't have a guy hitting above .300 against lefties this season with a minimum of 20 at bats. I really like Wilson's chances tonight. Pricetag is not all that bad either on him.

Guys I am torn today on who I want to put in for my pitcher. Friers from Milwaukee has been outstanding but I don't know if I like him pitching in Colorado. This will be his first test in the Mountain air. Wilson has great numbers against Cleveland, and he needs a big outing tonight. I like Samardajza against Houston and I even like Mike Minor against SD. Minor though has poot numbers aginst that SD lineup so I might have to stand clear from him.

Jeeps as of right now I going with Samardajza. Houston stinks and they have the 2cd worst K% in baseball so chances a getting some decent strikeout numbers are good. Now that I have said something he will get bombed lol. Good luck jeeps and everybody else.

Pangea, nice call with Samadjia last night, you better have cashed with him.

I went the CJ Wilson route, it was not all that bad, I had a solid lineup so was able to cash even though Wilson only got me 9.66 points.

Back to th grind to start finding what looks good for today.
