Yeah forgot about that too. This Clemson game pisses me off. Even though the two overs about even each other out with a win & a loss, I can't believe this stayed under. So many base runners stranded. Well, Mississippi State is done. So that future is dead. Rice is behind 1-0. Their offense is totally MIA.

#146Had more time to track things today, so I am feeling more confident with the plays as the day go on. May look TCU-Ole Miss Over depending on the number ... otherwise, going to probably stick with what I have now and look to the Tucson Regional later. Wildcats look awesome from a side standpoint and overs position as well.
June 3rd [Tallahassee Regional] Florida State -2.5 [-110]
FSU got a nice favor done I think by Samford who knocked out Mississippi State. Having to play the extra game leaves Samford stretched thing in the pitching department as they've already used their three regular starters. I am expecting we may see an all-hands on-deck type of set-up with Samford using lots of bullpen arms. They have some other options who started sparingly, but none are really the type you want in this setting against a patient FSU lineup. FSU has no such worries as they will likely start Mike Compton, their other great freshman arm. FSU walloped Samford 8-1 earlier in the regional, lighting up one of their better pitchers ... they should be keen to put this regional away with a W.Comment -

#147Would assume Linehan for Fresno - he's their normal #3. Not sure about Pepperdine, think they have two options - Maurer or Miller. They used four guys pretty heavily most of the season from the stats.Comment -

June 3rd [Coral Cables Regional] UCF-Stony Brook Over 10.5 [-140]
Stony Brook hung another big number, thanks some to shaky Missouri defense. Still, you can't argue with the results for this team with 28 runs in three games. UCF nailed them for nine yesterday and showed better productivity after being held down in the opener by super stud Petree from Missouri State. Stony Brook pitching probably is going to be by committee but they may start with James Campbell who had the most starts outside of their Big 3. He had a 2.98 ERA. UCF is in an interesting spot. They had to use Matulis in relief of Hanson yesterday and used Lively in the opener. That leaves Brian Adkins [4.50] ERA most likely to start this one as UCF has the luxury of saving Lively and a lightly used Hanson [2 IP yesterday] if they need them tomorrow. Two units again here. I'm really surprised they didn't turn this up to 11.5 or 12.Comment -

#162Bang it one more time.
June 3rd [Tucson Regional] Arizona-Louisville Over 12.5 [-120]
Arizona can go a lot of ways with their starter for this one since they are in the pole position. Logic would be #3 starter, James Farris, who was tagged with a 4.40 ERA this season. Louisville comes in off an 11 run performance against Mizzou and remain one the better run producing teams in D1. They should get some runs here. Arizona? 31 runs in two games. Fade them produced if you're insane.Comment -

TCU-Ole Miss
Stony Brook-UCF
NC State-Vanderbilt
OU-Appalachian State
Baylor-Dallas Baptis
[Maybe] LSU-Oregon State
#1s gone: A&M, Miami, Rice, UNC, Virginia, Purdue
I felt like I was going too much against the ACC when I did futures stuff, etc. - but three of theirs got cut in this round, so looks like that was the right way to go. Should be a good Monday slate & Super Regionals will be great next weekend!Comment -

#175Thanks CC. With that out there, I'm going to lay the chalk.
June 3rd [Charlottesville Regional] Oklahoma-Appalachian State Over 9.5 [-175]
Marcello had a 5.19 ERA during the regular season and was crushed in his last start in the America East tournament. Same goes for Magnifico for OU who has an electric arm, but couldn't make it out of the 1st inning against Mizzou in the Big 12 title game. Nerves figure to be bigger for the frosh for OU who can be dominant, but also has a .279 BAA which shows he can be hit hard when his command is off. Appalachian State has been consistent, scoring six and five in their two games. OU has scuffled some, but Marcello could be a good elixir for that.Comment
