I don't know why Kansas City keeps being mentioned as a potential play, they did not qualify being under -145. Go to post #3 in this thread and click on the link. That will redirect you to Covers.com, the guy who created the system. Go to posts #136, #138, and #282, this describes what are and are not plays. From what I read, KC will not be considered, so whoever decides to "run this thread" should be aware of what criteria are used for plays. I may be wrong, but I doubt it.

I don't know why Kansas City keeps being mentioned as a potential play, they did not qualify being under -145.

this is a grey area and usually the o/u filter sways me one way or the other. if a game starts above -145 and suffers a 20 cent drop, i usually make it a no play. if a game starts under -145 and creeps up, but is not significantly above -145 then i look to the o/u. if the o/u is 9 or higher, i will make it a play. if it is under (like today, 8.5), then i lean to the no play.

KC opened at -140 and slowly crept over -145 at some books. Plus the 9.5 total would make it filtered as well.

I dont see how anyone can run this thread considering the way on3 plays the labby and how many judgment calls that have been made in the past. Ive been chasing(and being selective as hell lately) so the numbers dont matter to me, but those using the labby must have a decent grasp on it by now. Bol tonight, its gonna be an ugly 2 weeks

Well, then this is his own personal rule, not the way the system was designed. Play however you wish, but I know a lot of these plays were made official or not official based on on3's personal opinion of the line movement, so unless someone is reading his mind and the plays are posted the way Rizz set it up, I don't know how anyone could run the thread while he is away. But as I said, play it how you want, I will play it the way it was designed, which is what all the backtests and previous years records are based upon. It isn't a "system" if personal opinions and handicapping come into play, and change whether a game is a play or not, especially when the original criteria are here for that reason and say that it wasn't.

I appreciate it, but I absolutely HATE the labby, and wouldn't be of much use to those people in here, who for some reason, don't know how much to bet on each game by now. I can understand those people possibly needing the plays posted, since this system gets more confusing every day, but there is no reason why they should need the amount of the bet posted also. Nobody should be relying on one person that much, and as we said earlier, with all of on3's recent handicapping that goes into several of these plays, I don't think anyone could do it. If someone would just post the plays the way it was set up, then great. Rizz posted all the plays the night before in his thread, but for some reason, in here, we get official plays listed, and other plays which may become official based on what happens with lines. Other than the filtered plays, which even Rizz based on final o/u line, but also opening line of -145, no other plays should possibly change if the opening line was under -145. Even his filtered plays had to OPEN at -145. This includes KC, even if the O/U goes up to 70, the opening line was under -145, so no play. Whoever posts, play by the rules, and not the uncertain changing rules instituted by on3, at least until he gets back, then of course, he can post however he wishes, since it is his thread. Otherwise this same argument will arise EVERY DAY!!!
