Mine doesn't even know I'm gambling. I mean she knows a bit but i never talk to her about it. She put her full trust in me I suppose

The only thing she complains is that i spend a lot of time in front of the computer

Mine knows. She knew for a while that I did a little wagering, but she just learned recently that I've been doing it pretty regularly. I think part of what gave it away was my quick disappearing when I would make an incorrect wager and thus I would call the Greek to try and cancel the bet. She doesn't care as long as I don't make us go broke, and considering I've got less than $2000 in my accounts it's not the end of the world.

`trina doesn't complain and does WNBA as well as the next person. She has her money to gamble with, I have mine and we have ours. It's what we do and who we are - no reason to hide/keep it from her.

The number on this game says a lot, as Jeremy Hellickson makes his Major League debut as a slight favorite over veteran Carl Pavano (13-6, 3.21 ERA). Obviously, the line is fishy, because despite Hellickson's impressive minor league resume, he's up against a red-hot Pavano (3-0, 1.17 ERA L3 starts), and yet we're still being asked to lay a little with the Rays.

Clearly, oddsmakers are begging for Twins money, enticing you to bet Pavano at such a cheap price over a still wet-behind-the-ears Hellickson. Well, I'm not buying it, and from what I've seen from the young righty, he's more than up to the task tonight.

Both teams have been hot, but injuries to Morneau and Mauer may just be enough to slow this Twins offense down. Also, let's not get too carried away with the Twins 8-game winning streak, as it was built against the likes of Baltimore, Kansas City, and Seattle. I'm much more impressed with the Rays 12-2 run at the Trop, facing teams like Boston. Detroit, and the Yankees over that span. Rays get it done again at home tonight. Tampa Bay (Hellickson) over Minnesota (Pavano) Monday.

Big move on the Pirates today as well

I think the big play would be wednesday if they lose today and tomorrow. It just so happens that Wednesday is my birthday but has nothing to do with why i say it would be the big play. I think tonight is 50 50 the line is very fair. Kemp is successful when he is driving the ball the other way. Early on in the game last night he had multiple pitches he would have usually crushed but he is pulling off the ball right now and is struggling big time. His last at bat he did put a nice easy swing on the ball and did try and go the other way. This tells me that he knows what he needs to do its just a matter of getting comfortable again. Ethier was out last night because his wife was having a kid. He will definitely help out tonight.

The potential for is all there for the Dodgers is just a matter of getting hot again. If that line up can start hitting to its ability they have just a good of a chance as anyone down the stretch in the West because of their starting pitching. Padilla has been the hottest pitcher since July 1st in the NL, Billingsly has the longest current streak without giving up and earned run, 22 innings, and Kershaw has been turning in efforts like last night all year long.
