With that in mind..

It's only a matter of time before I get me some Magic-even without Franz Wagner their defense is stellar (#1 in points against) and the Suns are on short rest. With a whopping 20 point synergy advantage you already know the effort will be there to cover such a small line. Still this is the NBA and anything can happen in regard to the depth chart-so wait it out.

I also like the Heats today catching the Cavs on the second leg of a back to back. Part of my synergy rankings has to do with a team when they are giving maximum effort. If they give a max effort then the line is golden. They don't? Well you see what happens when a team has an underdog dvantage and gets blown out

The Nuggets have fallen from grace to be sure. They are not getting anything from their bench (24.8 PPG) and only 2 players in their starting lineup have a +/- that is positive-Braun and Jokic. However the Hawks are 4th in the league in turnovers making an insane 16.5 per game. With the Nuggets coming off of a loss to the Wizards (while resting half of the team) of all teams I would look for them to give a serious effort. And they will get that in the form of much more Russell Westbrook who will be filling in for Jamal Murray who is out with a hamstring issue. And the Hawks younger players are intimidated by him-thinking he may fly off the handle and sock one of them. I do have to watch this one tho-and make sure that the line doesn't end up with Hawks-3.5.

As far as NFL is concerned I am only taking WAY+7's today. So with that the only two events that I am looking at are the Raiders out here catching a possible +7 and the Browns possibly catching a +7. Yep-that's pretty much it

Being that Tuesday is a double dip on TNT it stands to reason that one underdog will cover and one favorite will cover. So at the very least you should know that coming in. The talk will be about team high scorer Franz Wagner being out for the Magic. It won't matter-his production will be replaced with solid defense-the best in the NBA. I see them covering the number if not winning straight up and I see the Thunder landing on a crisp -6 and then blowing out the Mavs by margin

Indeed. The Grizzlies need to stay healthy for the long run and improve their seeding for the playoffs. They do look good and are getting excellent numbers for the type of product that they put on the floor night in and night out

The Raptors are right within my buy in zone (+7 to +7.5) as the Knicks are being overvalued for a team with only 4 points of synergy advantage. With 84% of the CASH on the Knicks the books rooting interest is obvious and plain. Keep waiting it out tho

I am looking over some NCAA hoops for today to keep everyone busy y'all. Looking up the synergy numbers and will be back this afternoon or early evening with my findings. It's around the time when the teams are starting to jell

I've been following since early in the mlb season but don't want to clog up the thread with my comments. But I sure do appreciate your knowledge and contributions!

Okay so it looks like I should be shopping for a rising home number that ends up at -9 which has a conversion rate of 68.8% 11-5-0 ATS.

Some of the sides that fit that mold look to be

Davidson which started at -7.5 and is now up to -8.5 -115 The SYNERGY is at Davidson-9

St. Joe's which started off at -7 and is now up to -8 -115 The SYNERGY is at St. Joe's-9

Cal which started out at -7 and is now -7.5 and is now -8.5 -110 The SYNERGY is at Cal-4

As far as BLOWOUT specials I see one that stood off of the page to me. Xavier is -30.5 but has #22 Cincy up next on their schedule-El Paso. The SYNERGY is at -24.5 which is decent but not close enough

Houston however is -26.5 currently-the HOME-27.5 is hitting at a sparkling 80% 8-2-0 ATS. The SYNERGY is sitting at -23.5 so that's decent. Also they have another sorry ass team up next on the schedule (8 days from now) in Toledo. The fact that they are 4-0 ATS at home is also giving me reason to understand that this one may have intrinsic value.

That leaves the old tried and true ranked team catching points. Wisconsin is +6.5 to the Fighting Illini today.

The SYNERGY is Iliinois-27 and O/U 128.5. The problem with this is that Wisconsin has lost 2 straight games to ranked Michigan and Marquette and Illinois lost to Northwestern. Overall Illinois has had Wisconsin's number going 8-2 straight up against them. I think that this is one of those situations where the home team wins outright and the underdog covers. An AWAY+6.5 is hitting at a 57% clip with not a lot of good numbers around it. So I am staying away from this one and looking to work with Wisconsin on 12/14 when they are home to face Butler

NC Central has the unenviable task of facing West Virginia with 2 cupcakes coming up after this one (Bethune Cookman and Mercyhurst). the synergy is set at West Virginia-21.5 and the number is -26.5. As with Houston I am looking for the number to go to -27.5. This one and Houston should get ugly early. Teams with cupcakes or time off coming up next tend to tee off on those sorry teams to get their home crowd hyped-plus those teams are also being paid to be there and you already know what that means
