#847Nats won 14-1 last night, and the crappy AZ pen pitched over half of the game again. Team is a complete dumpster fire right now.Comment -

#849Not a totals play, but thought I'd share...
Arizona returns home Monday from a 3-7 road trip. They have lost the first game back from all 6 of their previous road trips. Five of those losses were by 2+ runs. Overall, the Diamondbacks are 17-35 at home, with 28 losses by 2+ runs. Stasburg leads the NL in run support, and the DBacks just traded away Tyler Clippard from an already shaky pen. Things could get ugly in Phoenix Monday night.
I got the RL at -105 overnight.Comment -

#854Some reasons for the play:
Trends, starters, relievers and wind are in our favor. I capped the game at 9.8 runs and for Colorado that was way low for my model.
Almost took Minny/Clev over 8. Trends, relievers, ballpark and umpire all lean over, but Carrasco has been lights out lately so I passed. It could be a 5-1 game if Carrasco goes over 7 innings.

#859Not a total again, but here's one I'm on:
PIT -1.5 +135
Atlanta called up RHP Rob Whalen for his first ever major league appearance against the Pirates tonight. He has pretty good minor league numbers, but is averaging less than 6 IP and nearly 16 pitches per inning this season. LHP Jeff Locke starts for the Pirates. Atlanta is 11-26 against lefty starters this season and 16-38 at home. 54 of Atlanta's losses have come by 2 or more runs, so the run line is cashing in over 50% of Atlanta games. Getting plus money here looks like real value.Comment -

#861Just as I thought, the line on the Min/Clev has gone to -115 for the over, at most places. I still think you'll start seeing 9.5 out there. We'll see.

#862Some reasons for Min/Clev over:
Relievers, stats, most trend, ballpark and umpire. Weather has the wind in from right at only 8 MPH, but air density index is very low at a 59 so IMHO that evens the weather out.

#867Sorry about the Pittsburgh play. Up 4-0 after the top of the first and then nothing but suck. Not my night. I had STL/CIN o9.5. After a 6-run first the game ended 5-4. Hate days like this. I'd rather lose badly than see stuff like this.Comment -

#872Good afternoon,
Well, we go 1-1 this afternoon. I was very disappointed in the WS/Det game. 7 runs scored by the top of the 2nd and we still almost won that game. At least the relievers did their job only giving up 2 runs.
The Regular Play for tonight:
Pit/Atl over 8.5 -120
