#194OVER 6.5 COL/SD -10510:10PM
RISK $105 TO WIN $100
Anytime we have a game posted at O/U 6.5 or 7...I’m ONLY looking for the probability of a 3-3 game and this game qualifies with flying colors. As you have probably gathered from my write-up on the Rockies...I wouldn’t doubt the Rockies ability to get ALL 7 runs we need on their own tonight...but I’m confident with the info/data out there that we get this total tonight. It’s De La Rosa vs. Shields and that matchup flat-out does not warrant such a low posted total...especially KNOWING this game would see O/U 9 if in Colorado.
Without copy/pasting the write-up from above...we have 2 starters that ARE capable of surrendering 7 individually...although unlikely...but we ALSO have 2 bullpens that are NOT known for “holding” teams down...especially the COL ‘pen ranked 30th in MLB (last) in runs allowed AND ERA….SD has improved, but is still in the BOTTOM 10 in all of baseball...so I just straight-up do not understand the “low” posted total here.Comment -

#200LA ANGELS -1359:05PM
RISK $135 TO WIN $100
I don't *like* playing on chalky favorites...but when you give me Garrett Richards vs. Rick Porcello...AND we're getting the FAR better bullpen? It's a spot I'm confident in.
Richards stock is soaring as he continues to impress returning from that BAD leg injury a couple seasons back and I don't think his 9-6 record and 3.53 ERA do him justice...as he's made 2 "poor" starts skewing the #s. Richards has been GREAT at home (5-1, 2.25 ERA) and compared to some very AVERAGE road numbers... This is the place to back the Angels RH.
Enter Rick Porcello...who's ERA is just under 6.00 and comes in at 5-9 on the season. The Angels know him well racking up over 115 at-bats against him while hitting .280 against the Sox SP. Specifically, Trout, Pujols, and Calhoun have made Porcello PAY and when you dig in...only a couple guys HAVEN'T cracked him.
The Red Sox bullpen is 23rd in ERA and 25th in runs allowed...so essentially they're doing nothing well and clearly are a liability...while the LAA 'pen comes in 8th overall in runs allowed...a SOLID staff. Give me the better starter, bullpen, and offense tonight.Comment -

#202WAS NATIONALS -1107:05PM
RISK $210 TO WIN $200
I knew making this play that I'd have to make a GREAT case for FADING Mets ace Matt Harvey and after really digging in/sorting through the BS...there's a reason the 'books have posted -110/-110. In ANY other scenario where you have a "perceived" mismatch (Harvey vs. Gonzalez) like the "masses" will see HERE ... ALWAYS pay attention to the PRICE as the indicator of the odds maker's confidence/concern. the fact that Harvey and Gio are the same cost...should be an immediate red-flag.
I see the price as 100% warranted and while I'll confidently admit that Matt Harvey is the FAR BETTER starting pitcher...that's the ONLY advantage for the NY Mets Monday night and I have my doubts about their ability to "focus" after an 18-inning battle in St. Louis Sunday...despite pulling out the 3-1 win.
First, BOTH pitchers have already faced the opposing lineup and BOTH have dominated. Gio has allowed 6 hits, 0 ER in 7 innings vs. NYM earlier this season and HE's putting together arguably the BEST month of his career in July...holding 3 SOLID offenses to a TOTAL of 2 ER over his last 3 starts. (PIT, SF, BAL)...no small feat. The Nats lefty has gotten better EVERY month and facing the 30th ranked offense in MLB vs. LHP AND with the Mets just 15-30 on the road...scoring only 55 runs this season vs. LHP (good for dead last)... what am I missing?
Harvey HAS shut down the Nats (13 IP, 0 ER)...which still surprised me being a TOP 10 offense vs. RHP...but this will mark the 3rd battle just THIS year between Harvey and the WAS offense and something has got to give. I am certain the Mets are in "preservation mode" with their ACE and he won't get past 6-7 innings if NY is smart...and with virtually the ENTIRE Mets bullpen used/abused after the 18-inning marathon?
Give me the rested, motivated, HOME team with the bargain price...TRUST me.Comment -

#203- SIDE/TOTAL PARLAY+258
LA ANGELS -120x 5:05PM
UNDER 7.5 BOS/LAA -105
RISK *$38 TO WIN $100
I'll be brief here... The Angels are on a year and the Sox are NOT...scoring 0 over their L2 games in Anaheim. It won't get easier vs. Hector Santiago (#4 SP in AL)...who has thrown well in DAY or NIGHT starts but the same can't be said for Sox SP Eduardo Rodriguez. E-ROD has a 7.52 ERA in 4 DAY starts this season allowing a .280 BA.
The Good news...LA hasn't seen the BOS hot prospect and I think the lack of familiarity benefits our UNDER play for sure. I'm not too worried about Boston...ranked 2nd runs scored vs LHP and 24th in AVG vs. LHP...bottom of the barrel and Santiago has the stuff to keep BOS in check.

#208OVER 8 BAL/NYY -1207:05PM
RISK $120 TO WIN $100
**PLAYING. 8.5 IS OK AT +100
A classic AL EAST matchup and familiarity is the name of the game (obviously). BOTH offenses are MORE than familiar with our SPs here with The lefty Chen facing off against Yankees right-hander Nathan Eovaldi. I made mention yesterday of NOT liking "idle pitchers" and this is a classic case of TOO MUCH rest with both starters coming off 9 days of rest and I'm confident that benefits us here as they should be a bit "off."
With these 2 offenses though...the LAST thing these pitchers can afford to be is "off" for sure with BAL coming in as the #3 offense versus RHP and this NYY lineup coming in at an impressive #2 versus left-handers in ALL of Major League Baseball...driving in 129 runs this year against southpaws. BOTH offenses are HOT too at the plate with BAL plating 12 runs over the L2 games and NYY scoring 17 in their last 4...so we're certainly NOT playing ON struggling offenses by any means.
We're playing this game in the bandbox that IS the new Yankee Stadium...a massive benefit for sure and it WILL to be HOTTT in the Bronx tonight...in non already HR-friendly building ranked #4 this year in HRs with just under 1.5 per game. Statistically, the bullpens look "good"...but they're NOT nearly as effective as their stats project...and I don't "trust" either of these teams 8-9 inning guys...just ask me about Zack Britton, HA. I see this game flying over double-digits tonight...Comment -
