actually, we lost in finals, but given that it took a group of guys a decade younger than us with a guy who was in the NBADL three years ago as their ringer to beat us (and we took them to the limit in the finals), still very pleased with our performance in year 19 of our team.

No, i will admit that i did not. i think that i've done this maybe 5 times in the 4+ years that i've been playing bases. and now i feel like a fkn clown.

but sincerely, i appreciate your pointing out that it was foolish because at least i learned something. of course, any replacement likely would not be anywhere close to -200 because Dbacks done have any starters that good, but it would've at least been even money. one reason that i did this is that i had to be in meeting from 10:30 right up until first pitch, so if Latos were scratched, i'd still have wanted to fade Fish and this would've kept my bet alive. the other reason - thinking that i was locking in line - clearly was incorrect and stupid. i just checked rules at 5D and it's essentially identical to Bovada rule.

so, having considered it for a couple of minutes, playing action probably makes most sense when playing a parlay with staggered start times? or, as with my first reason, i knew i'd be unavailable to deal with it during time period when he's most likely have been scratched?

that wind is the same as was forecast on dailybaseballdata this morning, so the timing of the move wouldn't match. line dropped around 7 pm EST suggests either unexpected lineup decision, update to undisclosed injury or one of the pitchers looking as if he will be in good/bad form. in short, someone smarter than me liked under. with the SPs in this game and no lineup shenanigans, no reason for downward movement on the total at 7 pm.
