    not a lot of action for me today either. But what about the following query that you posted earlier?

    A and line>=130 and STDSERA<=3.50 and t:conference=AL and A(Starter:innings pitched@o:starter and season) >6.5 and 2009<=season

    And
    league = o:league and WP < 50 and o:WP < 50 and streak <= -2 and o:streak >= 1 and AWP > o:HWP and AD and season > 2010 and month > 4

      That's the one from me, isn't it? Picked the Mets because of it, but didn't like the Red Sox too much somehow.

      This one already cashed, lol: http://forum.sbrforum.com/baseball-b...l#post21911041

            looks like the trend working against Danks didnt work out well, but fading the team itself ended up well with the Yankees winning earlier.

            season >= 2014 and A and (-105 <= line <= 185) and p:AL and pp:AL and op:W and opp:W and SG=3 and o:WP>50 and WP<50

            16-2 (3.72, 88.9%) avg line: -161.0 / 148.2 on / against: +$1,281 / -$1,306 ROI: +44.5% / -72.6%

            Playing on the Astros here. In 2014, road teams on the verge of getting swept that are below 0.500 and are facing a team above 0.500 are performing well.
            Combine this with JMon's query and I like the Astros as a dog here.

              Good find Nbilin I was liking the 'stros and this query is a gentle push to the betting window.

              Never seen Danks pitch so well,....there's been plenty of late inning rallies that have gone the wrong way lately, so perhaps there will be a trend towards fortunate results now.

              Since we're talking a lot of this season's trends, check out how NL day games have played out this year....a plethora of UNDERS.

              Another observation...especially for dog queries,....they often aren't that strong on weekends, over the time the database has been around favorites win during the weekend and dogs' ROI are good during the week.

              season=2014 and H and DAY and conference and total>=7

                This one is pretty sweet

                Here's one I came up with. Please feel free to tweak in order to increase sample size while eliminating irrelevant variables or variables that add only limited increase in win/loss ratio or ROI relative to a dramatic decrease in sample size:

                HF and WP>o:WP and tA(hits)>9 and tS(hits,N=8)>=70 and tA((hits+walks)@team and season)/tA(runs@team and season)>A((o:hits+o:walks)@team and season)/A(o:runs@team and season) and op:L and opp:L and p:W and SG>1 and tA(margin, N=10)>0 and tA(margin)>0

                  I am not seeing any plays with this today, is that correct?

                    Hi Green,
                    Unfortunately not, at least when I tried it last night. But, I noticed that sometimes it takes a really long time for the database to update after the previous day's games. So who knows it may become active, but I suspect not due to infrequency with which it applied until now at least this year. But that's partly why an increased sample size would be good--to increase the frequency with which its active.

                            Interesting. I went to the "MLB Trends" page and filtered for today's games (20142505) and this one didn't pop up so I take it that you have this saved under "My MLB Trends"?

                            It doesn't seem as if the generic daily filters are of much use. Has anyone had a different experience?

                            Great thread btw. Thanks to everyone who is participating.

                              One question. Would you dislike it if I posted my plays that I chose based on the queries and posting the results here?
                              Based on my queries from yesterday I played 6 bets and won 5 on a flat stake base (W: ATL ML, LAD@PHI u8, COL@ATL u7.5, TEX@DET o8.5, OAT@TOR u9.5; L: HOU@SEA o6.5; profit: +3.25 u). Or would you like it better if we only continue to post the queries all alone? Otherwise I could open a fresh thread in which I post my queries, picks and results and still continue posting my queries parallel here?

                              Edit:
                              Nevermind, I start a new thread and post my queries in both threads for keeping it clear.

                                                      Why the exclamation point after month in "month!=9." What do you mean observe the DAY parameter as I don't see it in the query?

                                                              ........though having a 15-25 cent line makes things a bit tougher.

                                                              Found that all >=60% winning teams are -EV as favorites in almost every category I could query. Only time there was positive was as an away favorite after winning < 5 out of their last 10 games. Especially good versus those teams in April and May....

                                                              AF and tA(W)>=.6 and playoffs=0 and month

                                                              HF and tA(W)>=.6 and playoffs=0 and month
