The Denver Nuggets have the Minnesota Timberwolves on the brink heading into Game 6 at Target Center, and we're offering our best Jamal Murray odds and player props based on the best NBA odds.

After trailing 0-2 against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Denver Nuggets have roared back with three straight wins to take a 3-2 series lead. The Timberwolves are still 2-point favorites to beat the Nuggets at home in Game 6, which tips off from Target Center at 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.

Nikola Jokic, a top contender by the 2024 NBA Finals MVP odds, has been in sensational form as he revives the Nuggets' once-dwindlign NBA championship odds. Still, the Nuggets will need more from Jamal Murray if they aim to close out the series tonight.

Along with our Nuggets vs. Timberwolves player props, here are our best Jamal Murray odds and player props, and NBA picks for Thursday (odds via our best NBA betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Jamal Murray odds, prop bet predictions Game 6

Jamal Murray Under 19.5 points ⭐⭐⭐⭐

If Jokic is the Joker, maybe Murray is Two-Face? One moment he's hitting a game-winning buzzer beater and the next he's launching projectiles onto the court. His frustration is palpable with how poorly he's played in the second round.

Throughout his career, Murray has been known to step up his game in the postseason, but that hasn't been the case against Minnesota. The Canadian is averaging just 16.8 points against the Timberwolves and has topped 19.5 points only once in five games.

Minnesota's defense is arguably the best in the NBA after finishing first in rating (109.0) while allowing the fewest points per game (106.5) this season. It's impacting Murray, who is taking just 16.8 shots per game.

Jamal Murray Under 1.5 made 3-pointers ⭐⭐⭐

It's gotten so bad for Murray against Minnesota that he's basically given up on attempting 3-pointers, and his calf strain could be part of the reason why. In Game 5, he didn't take a single shot from behind the arc and this comes after shooting only 29% from three in the opening round against the Los Angeles Lakers.

In 10 playoff games so far this postseason, Murray has finished with fewer than two made 3-pointers five times. Despite averaging 5.8 attempts from three this season, and 6.8 against the Lakers, he's taking only four per game against Minnesota's talented perimeter defense.

The Timberwolves allowed the third-fewest 3-pointers per game in the regular season (11.4) and the second-fewest to point guards (2.58). These +110 odds from Betway imply only a 47.62% probability the prop hits, but a $10 bet pays out $21.

Best odds: +110 via Betway

Jamal Murray Over 5.5 assists ⭐⭐⭐

For as bad of a series Murray is having both on and off the court, he's found other ways to make an impact. It's not as if he's that one friend everyone has who likes to stand behind the 3-point line during pick up and jack terrible long bombs all day rather than do anything helpful.

Murray has shown his playmaking instincts throughout the first two rounds and they'll be needed once again if Denver wants to end the series in Minnesota. After averaging 6.5 assists per game this season, Murray put up 7.2 in the first round and is only one game removed from an eight apple night against the Timberwolves.

If he's not going to shoot, Jokic will need him feeding him the rock so he can eat inside against Minnesota's defense. A $10 bet on this prop cashes an $8.70 profit with a 53.49% win probability.
