Mr boeing please check in. Supposedly the rolls royce engines showed data of a 40000 foot plummet in 1 min which is a nosedive clearly but the US investigators say that's impossible. The math shows that 550 mph is 48400 feet per minute so my question is can a 777 nosedive at 550 mph??

I'm concerned that with a flight that turned almost 180 degrees around maybe 150 degrees and may have been hijacked how come not a single passenger sent a text or phone call or email. The plane was in the air owe to 7 hrs after the the turn because last communication was 811 am and it took off 1241 am.

Yes, it dropped 30.000 ft in total, but: "The plane entered a steep dive at a high bank angle. Altitude decreased 10,000 ft (3,000 m) within only 20 seconds, a vertical descent averaging 30,000 feet per minute (150 m/s). The crew and passengers experienced g-forces reaching as much as 5g."
So since the problems began, it lost 30.000 ft until the situation was under control, but during this period there were 20 seconds were the plane was nose down, and during that period alone it lost 10.000 feet in 20 seconds. So imagine a "nose down all the time" scenario and you get close to the number that seems impossible.

Nothing here. The only other thing is that they changed course and did not realize it and did not know they were going the wrong direction so noone thought to text or call.

I believe now it was the idea of one or both of the pilots to take the plane somewhere else. If one of the pilots became an extremist he could have killed the other pilot and taken the plane where he wishes

As for texts/calls not going out ... if you've got people smart enough to turn off the transponder to take this plane wherever, I would think they would probably have something that could jam signals perhaps - this really is turning into a movie script.

the altitude changes either had to be programmed into the autopilot or manually done by someone in either pilot seat. i think it's the latter which means whoever was controlling that plane was awake and got it out of the huge descent and back up ascending again, multiple times

just about any trained commercial pilot can turn off a transponder as the switch is located in the cockpit and then to turn off the ACARs they would need to go into the bay below the cockpit and they could turn that off there. most commercial pilots know their planes inside and out so this is apparently not difficult to do. but that just explains the airplane not communicating.

trying to block cell signals from being picked up by cell phones, ipads, tables, etc, would be nearly impossible. what helped them with that is the fact there are literally no cell signals in the middle of the ocean at high altitude because there are no cell towers.

CNN's coverage is really getting comical now.
they basically pick one "theory" every day and go completely apeshit with it. now they are basically saying it was the pilots and they planned this out since takeoff.

CNN is covering this basically 24/7 and anytime I pass the channel it's another crazy crazy theory and they just run with it like no tomorrow.

all the other news channels are basically waiting for concrete info and are not drowning their viewers in this stuff. the other day Anderson Cooper pretty much said "this is it we got the Chinese satellite photos I can't believe we found the wreckage"...that lasted 8 hours LMAO

it was the not the leading the theory until today, about 3-4 hours after i posted it is when CNN cited "US Intelligence sources" who are highly suspicious of the pilots.

there have been several theories in the prior week but this was not the leading one. i am watching the coverage like a hawk whether at work or home. a motherfukking hawk.

let me go ahead and tell you what the fukk happened, and then when the black boxes are found in 2-3 years you can hear the cockpit flight recorders and bump this thread then tell me i'm a genius.

the 53 year old captain became a muslim extremist. his 27 year old co captain was not on board with it, so to speak. so the 53 year old captain devised a plan to let some buddies in the cockpit to incapacitate the co captain, while the captain shut off the transponder, went down below the cockpit to shut off the ACARS (aircraft acceptance and response system), then came back up in time to say "Good night" then turn the plane a sharp left. he climbed to 45,000 feet then lowered the compression in the main cabin so it put the passengers to sleep. the plan was to take the plane to a safe haven in the middle east so it could later be used as a bomb. the problem is they did not make it and the plane crashed in the ocean.

If they can't narrow the search field to 1-2% of what it currently is then they'll never find the wreckage but that doesn't mean we won't be able to find out what happened because the flight simulator at the captains house and computers at his home can glean tons of info

yes but my take is based on a story i've woven with facts that have been released since US experts have been given access to data. your take was based on info about the oil slick that was already proven incorrect 7-8 days ago
