let me just sum up how each of these three players, SharpA, TDB, and WW truly size up, using the one most impt factor in my mind at the poker table: How do you feel when your table pops up and they are there:
SA: very solid player, makes very, very few mistakes, in fact, I can't recall a single one I've ever seen him make. He comes into a hand with you, look out! generally, you're gonna avoid playing too many hands with him, or you will get burned. better bring your a-game, or at least pray you'll "sbr" him with runner runner bullshit to win! (I think I may have done this to him a few times)
TDB: first thought always is: "oh shit! tdb is here..... single-handedly affects the play at the table in ways only a few on this site can do. (biteme and players only do as well, but for slightly differing reasons; biteme calculated aggression, sharp as shit; p-0 wanton aggression, seemingly no calculation involved other than "I raise big, everyone will fold;" playing the odds the other player missed the flop at best). TDB's game falls in between bites and p-os, and definitely leans more towards bite's game, and is very "position" oriented in my opinion. Regardless, a formidable force, and when he's running hot, just go grab a drink, leave the table for a while, and ride his coattails into the final table, as he will destroy people.
Waves: initial impression as soon as you see him at the table: "yes!!!!! wussy is here!!!! time to run him over like the pussy he is!!!" a cowardly player, timid, and angle-shoots -- in his own mind -- by nearly letting the clock expire on him anytime he has a strong hand before shoving at the last second--he obviously thinks this alters the lowly oaftard proclaimed "transducers" in the programming, to give him an edge-- what a f'n dope! .
