For those that received a BW, what was your lag time between when the funds were removed from MB to the time that your financial institution showed the BW as received?

    D2bets & clarkacal:

Rest easy, guys. Mine was a large wire, and my time line went something like this:

Day 1: I requested payout and submitted wire info (around March 7, IIRC)

Day 3/4: Approx 3-4 days later, the available balance being wired was deducted from my MB account balance. I'm going by loose recollection here, but it was definitely several days after my submission containing wiring info.

Day 22: Wire hits my account. (March 29th)

I have been in touch (privately) with other large balance holders, many of whom reported similar payout time frames. I was getting very antsy myself, but it worked out. I've talked to many insiders on this (can't get into it on a public forum), and I am nearly certain that they'll be paying every American -- and fast.

You're going to get your money. Hang in there, I know it's not fun to sweat this, but it's coming your way.

Received CC payout today. Not happy I couldn't do a book-to-book transfer but VERY happy to have come out whole.

So as you guys know Matchbook has been depositing funds to US account holders as a "refund" and they did so to my Green Dot prepaid card, but unfortunately because it was in the from of a refund Green Dot wanted proof of the original transaction but of course there wasn't one and because I couldn't provide them with proof of the original transaction it had to be reversed and Matchbook would have to send it to me via another method. But if this wasn't enough Green Dot charged me a 3% foreign transaction fee because in their words reversing the charge was like spending it and they charge a 3% fee on foreign transactions which would come out to $232.

So I gave them my TD Bank DC info hoping to have better results and they did credit my card last week again as a "refund". But today I wake up and TD Bank has put a hold on this "refund" until they see the original purchase, so once again this charge will have to be reversed and finally they have offered to send me the money as normal people and will be sending me my money via check by courier after the transaction is reversed.

Now I ask you this question after all this hassle I have gone through and to boot I have lost out $232 on this deal should Matchbook not at the very least credit me this $232 if not more for this incredible hassle and time consuming headache they have put me through?

Wow, I am getting screwed. I submitted my wire info March 4th. The money was only debited from my MB account around March 30. I still haven't received anything. Looking at your timeline, I don't understand what is taking so long.

Hang in there KGambler. I can't imagine them not paying you. Other people I spoke with had time lines that started LATER than mine, but got paid earlier. It's just the way it goes sometimes. I look at it like when you go to dinner, and the table that was seated 20 minutes after you is already being served their appetizers while you're just getting around to placing your order with you waiter.

I really don't think they're going to stiff anyone. It wouldn't make sense. If they stiff even one American, their brand name is shot, and their business is shot. They would either be stiffing everyone, or none of us. They wouldn't pay out millions, and then stiff a select few. Hang in there, stay on them, stay polite, and you will soon be paid.

I've had multiple books process payouts as DC refunds and never had that kind of issue - is it a common thing in the US or did you just get unlucky with where you do your banking? I guess it makes sense on a prepaid card, but a real bank?

why is it MB's fault ?

didn't they send the money to where you instructed them ?

seems to me the problem is one of your cc provider's making

Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, asked MB to pay out their balances with a "refund" to a CC which had never even been charged. That was MB's brilliant idea, and they didn't give people any choice in the matter.

I didn't have a balance there other than .09 so this hasn't been a problem for me fortunately.I am surprised I am able to log into my account still? I thought they were disabling all U.S. accounts as of the end of March?

True. I have never used my CC with any Book, and I resent MB for making me use this method in an unsecured way to get my funds back. I got my payment but I check the activity on that card regularly to make sure there are no unauthorized charges.

I requested a BW on day 1. The BW failed, as I was told by MB on Mar 22. On Mar 23, we agreed that MB would credit my balance ($17K) to my CC. As of today, that credit is finally complete, based on the phone message of my card. I was worried for a while. I hope this good news gives others who are still waiting some encouragement. And I hope I do not get informed by my card that the credit has been reversed! And thanks to Bill Dozer and SBR for looking out for us.

Not worth listening to a word Hareeba says - he is nothing but a shill for MB.

I havent received the cash portion of my money yet - but Im only on business day #16 or so since my request date.

A shame to hear all the problems you guys are having. Would have been so many easier ways to pay us all. Easiest of all - just mail a check to the listed address.

You said its the players fault, Hareeba. NO ONE asked for a CC refund, did they?

Thats the ONLY option Muckbook offered to its long time players. Bec now that they dont need US players - who cares about simplicity of withdrawal.

Once again due your inability to comprehend written English you've got it wrong.

I did NOT say it was the payers' fault.

    I asked a question.

I still don't have an answer, although it does seem pretty obvious.

The only place MB would have got the account number from would have been the player.

Okay it may not have been the player's preference as to his withdrawal method but that doesn't change the fact.

And the consequence in this case was severe inconvenience caused by the rather extraordinary policy of the card company to refuse the credit.

He sent them the right info - maybe you cant read. The money came to his card as a REFUND. And the CC company is asking for an original bill of sale.

Sure MB sent it where he asked them to - but do you think they honestly give a **** about the convenience of the players that wont earn them money anymore?
