This will be a non issue in a couple of weeks when he doesn't make the 49er's roster. Be interesting to see if he stands for the Canadian National anthem next year.

FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reported Colin Kaepernick faces an "uphill battle" to make the 49ers' roster.
Glazer said he would be "shocked" if Kaepernick lasted the entire season on the 49ers' 53, and suggested Kap "may not even be on (the roster) in the next two weeks." All of Kaepernick's $11.9 million salary is guaranteed, but he has created a toxic situation by refusing to stand for pre-game National Anthems, which is Kaepernick's right but is frowned upon to put it mildly by most observers.

Apparently he sat for the previous preseason games as well and told teammates to watch but because he wasn't in uniform the media didn't catch it so this time he made sure everyone was watching him and ran over to the gatorade coolers and sat down after telling the camera guys. He'll be cut before week 2 and knows it guys. He's setting himself up. This way when he gets released he can claim its racism and not a business decision from the SF organization. Would you really want to pay someone $12 Million that won't contribute on the field and will be a polarizing figure all season long? He's taking the money and running. Parlaying this 'cause' into a future role after football soon.
