    It's all about recycling boys.
    Condoms, TP, colostomy bags.
Trust me, I know how to stretch a dollar.
Never buy pens, napkins or matches or little plastic swords. These can all be found at the sportsbook bars.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. Also, never buy ice, just carry a bucket with you at all times & duck into any hotel & turn left out of the elevator & head to the far end of the hallway.

    I budget.

All the expenses on line 1.
    Income on line 2.
Retirement and kids education savings on line 3.
    Personal savings(10% of income).
If anything is left you enjoy it. If not make more money.

Good strategy if your making at least 60 cash clean a year after taxes

Anything else basically zero savings with your set up

Most people would put income on line 1. And decrease from there with expenses....

Not sure who starts with expenses on a budget lol

It wasn't meant to be in any specific order. It's income - the rest obviously.

Hey. The irs pulling extra money out of ir check works. Its not like they keep it. By law they have to refund it. Only loss is minimal interest at todays current rate. Im excited about my refund check. Its gonna be a fat one. And that to me is money saved

Gotta start with income. Cannot spend what you do not have. Number 1 rule.
Don't start by listing expenses, because then if you get done listing them all, and then realize it's more than your income, you will have a tough time cutting.

    Start with income.
Then list expenses in order of importance.
Once you get to the point where you have either 1) listed all of your expenses or 2) don't have enough income to cover expenses, you figure it out from there.

This is right on. When we had the recession here 7-8 years ago.... if you drove by the any national chained restaurants they were jammed packed. The American people love to be lazy... love to be waited on... and love to drink alcohol while eating. So, if this was still booming during the recession.... it's mega booming now. Probably the best business to get into. People always blow money going out to eat.

I love hearing all the different ways

I had an old glass water jug, used to put dimes and quarters in it, filled up quick. That was furing the cash era.

We eat out a lot because its convenient, expensive as shit. Not uncommon for dinner to run $60-$70 with a drink. But fukking groceries are expensive too. If I could just not eat, I would do it

If I told you that you can take an interest free loan for up to 20 months and keep whatever you earn by putting that money to work, would you do it? What if I gave you the option of paying it back in installments?

Funny enough I fight with my wife about this every year at tax time. She likes a refund and while I will not turn down the money, I look at it as lost opportunity.

what do you want to save for? Set a goal for what you want - if its retirement thats tough to sock money away and you might as well be doing that through your 401k. You said you like comfort - I am for sure the same way - but I just budget a certain amount every month to go into savings. In my case I actually agree with what others have said on here and hate the current interest rates for cash savings so I dump all my money into debt paydown - only debt I have today is mortgage and I am trying to dump an extra grand onto that principal every month (would be more but my wife likes cash savings - kills me but I have to keep that number going up as well).

Another fun thing to try if you have a few extra bucks is Lending Club. You can get a better return on your investment and you are helping out "normal" people. I dropped a couple grand in there just to mess around with earlier this year - picked 40 different loans to partially fund. My annualized rate of return on those is a little over 8% and I went mostly high end (lower risk) loans. To me its not even the money its the game of trying to see how good I can get a return while still not having someone default. Thats a way to save - have it working for you - but in a fun way (or at least fun for me). PM me if you want more info on that - but just another thought

Kraken, this is what you do.

You set up multiple cameras in your bedroom, allowing you to capture the angles of you plowing your wife from every position. Once you've done this, you join a camsite, something like Chaturbate, where lonely guys will pay you to do things to her.

    This has a two-pronged effect:

#1. It'll bring the excitement back to your otherwise mundane sex life. Don't deny it, after a while every marriage can hit a bit of a lull. Having dudes jerking their rods at you and your wife can really bring the good times back!

#2. If you're going to be banging her anyway, you might as well get paid for it, right? Amirite, Kraken? Once the profits start rolling in, you'll become addicted. More sex + more cash = more scarves for you to splurge on. Can you imagine your scarf collection at the end of each month? You'll be the toast of the town!

Good luck to you, and Merry Christmas.

Kraken...I know for a fact your buddy Archie supplements his income counseling crack addicts by showing off his hoof-like goat feet in a traveling freakshow several times a year.

Not sure if you had any similar grotesque deformities, but never hurts to ask!

My goal would be break even at tax time. Just make sure you're close... but NEVER IN THE RED.

But most people like getting that huge check back around March and April. I know a family that goes on vacation with their refund every single year. They've been doing it for at least 15 years. Some people think it's just an extra bnk acct. I've heard of women blow their refund on boob jobs... etc.

The problem is.... why not just stick the refund back in your acct and save/sit on it? Everyone always goes and blows it. That's why you can tell this society is a check to check culture.

Exactly. My goal is not to take loans from the IRS although I have from time to time. I'd prefer to break even or get a little 1k surprise, not a bill-it's more of a psychological thing. People will do like you said and straight up blow their refund money on frivolous stuff which is their prerogative. I spend money on dumb shit all the time. I just prefer to put it into an interest bearing account before I spend it.
