1) Clinton had REPUBLICAN CONGRESS that was CUTTING SPENDING! It was not clinton. news flash. democrats dont cut spending. stop crediting clinton for something republican congress was doing.

2) Your chart is not of spending, it is of % increase. Obama looks like he didn't spend much when viewed as % increase (bush spending was during 2 wars, and medicare drug plan, which democrats plan was much worse). That is the trick. you are viewing % increase, not actual spending. Look at actual spending. Obama is BY FAR the biggest spender. Why does % increase even matter? So if next president deficit spends 1.4 Trillion every year, and adds 6 trillion to debt in 4 years, you think 6 trillion of debt added in 4 years is low because you view as % increase (0%)?

1) You can't deny that Obama is spending by arguing that the % increase is low. we know it is. Bush was fighting 2 wars. Name a president fighting 2 foreign wars at same time, during 7 of his 8 years in office, that did not increase spending. Bush's average deficit for first 6 years, even in height of 2 wars, was a few hundred billion. Look at chart below. With Obama its over a Trillion every year. bush left office with debt around 10 trillion. 4 and half years later its 17. Deficit spending 7 trillion in 4.5 years is a lot. Stop trying to spin % increase. If next presidents % increase over obama is 0% because he spends = to obama, and he adds 12 trillion in 8 years, does that mean he was lowest spender because % increase is 0%? Really? 12 trillion of debt for a president is lowest ever? % increase doesn't mean as much as looking at the actual spending figures. Obama has spent more money than any president in history (BEFORE his healthcare law even takes effect). Once Obamacare takes effect, Obama's spending is going to skyrocket the national debt even further. Stop trying to spin that adding 12 trillion of debt in 8 years is not a lot of money. Nobody believes you. % increase is not as relevant as the actual facts of how much they are spending.
