I don't think he has ever killed it Jibby. he bumps his winnerz and leaves all his losing bets out. and Wilbo pretty much nailed it. RuPaul brings this all on himself.

Who remembers when the tournament first started and RP kept bragging about how he's gonna win the thing? then after getting smacked about by me then mirin he pretends to have not looked at the forum in a few weeks.. comes back asking who he's facing next

    Good times.

ALL of those plays ended up losing, and then he ended up going big enough on Maia to "even up his night", which was absolutely impossible at that point on a -300 line if you know Ron_Paul's bankroll management strategies.

He lost his entire bankroll in one night, then returned and lost another entire bankroll (the tangibility of which is oft questioned.)

Havent seen him post since this was started, maybe if we just keep this thread at the top of the sub forum or get it pinned it'll keep the riff raff out, like a bug zapper for douche bags

^^^^Well I agree stats, gathering info and crunching numbers comes first in sports betting over the long haul.. Obviously..

When talking about lady luck I think of it like this fellas - Confidence, positive thoughts and good deeds puts you in a good frame of mind for good things to happen in life and or in gambling even.. If you are thinking negative, thinking you will lose, depressed and hating on everything then chances are you will go down that dark road and lose in life and gambling...

Let me give you fellas a simple example of the intangibles at work in gambling.. Read me out on this....

    - Let's say you go to Vegas, you see a craps table full of action and all smiles, then you see another craps table that is dead silence and full of frowns.. Do you really think you will have the same chance of winning on either table?

    - Another example - Black Jack table full of life and smiles, packed and everyone is high five'ing each other, then the next table over you see an empty black jack table with a stern looking Asian card dealer just sitting there.. Which table do you think you will have a better chance of winning at???

Now the numbers and facts don't apply to this and we know the cards and or dice aren't loaded either.. Hmmm? When I spoke of losing 20 straight football bets to start the season a bunch of you posting in this thread wanted to jump on that, when I'm killing it MMA some of you guys have tailed in the past I'm sure as well..

    What do you call that?????

    Correlation doesn't imply causation Jibby.

Although I do seem to win a way higher percentage of bets when I imagine you chowing down on my cack before i place the bet Jibb.. Funny how that works.

Man, if only all those people in Africa could just get their positive attitudes together they'd be rocking and rolling. I mean, easy perspective to state from a trust fund baby, right?

You'll have the exact same chances of winning at both tables.

Think about it for a moment, there's a lot of smart guys with a lot of money. People have taken tens of thousands of hours to learn to count cards in order to gain a 0.1% edge in blackjack. Why wouldn't they have just tried high fiving instead?

I appreciate black and white scientific thinking Nuns and won't ever knock a clear voice of reason... However,

    first off -

    - I'm not a trust fund baby Nuns and I believe poor people in Africa with positive thoughts that keep hope alive, do good deeds in life will have a better chance of climbing out of poverty as apposed to someone else in that same situation with no hope, no dreams, selfish and that has basically accepted their circumstances..

Back to lady luck - As far as counting cards, yes that is called having an edge, having a real advantage and that's not what I was talking about.. I was talking about going in with no advantage and choosing between a hot table as apposed to a dead one!!!! There is that little thing called lady luck taking place.. Being in the zone, lighting it up, on a roll, catching fire, streaking, positive vibes, etc... That is real and that can not be calculated, formulated or explained as a real factor in upping your odds of winning.

Why do Vegas Casino's monitor hot and cold card dealers over time? Why do they fire card dealers if they continue to lose badly on the tables but do the job correctly as asked?.. How is that explained? Why are some dealers consistently hot and others consistently not? Why are some people born to win and others born to lose so to speak?

There is a little grey area in life that cannot be explained... This is what I'm talking about...

Just because you cannot explain it- and in the case you're talking about, you can- doesn't mean that you can attribute it to whatever you want. Trying to advocate luck to a group of angle-grinders is adorably pointless.

Apparently this "Ron_Paul" character is actually 79 years old. I cross-referenced him through JIBBBY's database and managed to find some information on him.

Gambling on real intangibles like stats, trends, info are the way to go fellas over the long haul.. Don't read me wrong...

You fools know I crunch MMA data and post up every good link read I can find.. I do lean heavily on fighter style match ups going in first though... I envision the 2 fighters fighting and what strengths and weakness can be exploited.. Then I look for current info in article reads and reports, vids on last 2 fights, fighter trends on SHERDOG after that. Then place or wait for the weigh in results....

However though, I also DON'T BRUSH off long gambling winning or losing streaks to just chance either.

That is why I continue to make the 5 dollar 10-12 team parlays with every card.. I will post up the result when I hit it again.. Some gamblers are more streaky then others...

RON happens to be one of them.. Let's keep Ron around fellas!!!!!
