I'm rich enough to know I'm not rich.

Congrats on your $720 win, wasn't trying to take that away from you. Was just surprised by the amount. Some guys have $1000 to their name and make $500 bets, some guys are millionaires and can't handle losing $20. It is what it is.

If I was MD, you likely would have had to face this problem at 5:49 pm on Saturday, instead of last night after posting your "funny pics". The fact that some people approve of my posts and don't approve of yours shouldn't be that big of a head scratcher. To clarify my position: it's lots of fun to make fun of idiots when they are being mean-spirited or dishonest, but I'm guessing you've never loved someone who is handicapped before, or you wouldn't be so flippant with your bigotry.

Next thing you're going to tell us is that your claims of being a paid MMA writer is one more of your genius troll jobs. But only after you are called out for lying about it.

    Your move, fatso
I couldn't even get thru that entire read.. I'm honestly bored now...

Ok I really thought Bendo was the champ and he was fighting Pettis.. What every you say pal... I got my laughs on and I'm done now..

Man you sound like MD.. IDK????

Is it a coincidence that you took the spot light away from MD or am I just imagining all this?

Did Bendo even fight Dos Angos still? Who won?? Was I dreaming all that up on the entire event thread leading up?.. I remember even capping that imaginary Dos Angos/Henderson fight.. Hmmmm? I surely remember betting on Hendo/Dos Angos in several parlays and losing... Hmmm? I wish I made that up... I surely remember placing micro small props bets against Dos Angos.. Was I dreaming or lying about all that too?

Lastly I also could have sworn I was looking at Henderson/Dos Angos prop bets and commented on those as well leading up.. How could I do that if Pettis was fighting? Do I need to continue to explain.. Really??? Read the entire event thread then talk to me about lying pal.... I'm done reading your posts...

GIVE IT UP ALREADY PLEASE.. It was a prank on MD!!!! Nothing more nothing less... End of story...

I'm pretty sure you could get the "rich" label for gambling with a 50K bankroll if you explained it right. People don't really understand gambling finance. You're far, far ahead of me, and I've been called rich before, by multiple people. Fock, JIBBBY is rich. What does the word even mean any more?

Not getting butt hurt... Just getting slightly irritated with all the lie comments.. I thought this prank would get a few more laughs also in the end..

Gambling - I don't get careless and wreckless with my gambling Nunya..

I'm a conservative gambler and stay consistent with my gambling bets always.. $100-$200 per play.. I've been able to consistently win in MLB and MMA and build up my account balances just fine betting those amounts daily...

I don't max bet, I don't LOAD up, I also don't chase my losses and bet larger and larger in hope of getting it all back in a hurry.. If I hit a quick losing streak I bet smaller and smaller..... This works for me...

I wish I had more balls to be honest like you Nunya.. I just hate to lose money with gambling.. I do everything in my power not too...

I stopped cashing out like you said, the balances are jacked up on each bookie and it does seem easier and more tempting to make larger plays now.. I gotta be honest... I'm twisted in the mind like that

Certainly there's a million different perspectives. I sent a Peer 2 Peer of $1000 last night at a local shop and the girl counting the money said, "I feel so rich."

I remember being 21 and thinking how rich I would feel if I had $6000 and I could play $10-$20 LHE every day without worries.

Now, I think rich is about $10 million in liquid assets. But, ask me again when I'm there.

I'm very conservative with my bets. I hate losing money so much. I constantly underbet my bankroll. Losing hurts a million times worse than winning feels good. I've actually thought about seeing a sports psychologist to help me with it.

You must be setting the bar higher than I do. I know a handful of guys with 8 figures from poker.

Also lots of millionaires from bitcoin speculation and the stockmarket, both gambling.

I need to reavaluate the way i bet. two fighters that should of won let me down. need to start using props more, although they seem more risky then betting on the fighters straight.

It is, and you still won't get rich unless you have a low figure. And, that isn't some backhand slight, some people only need a certain amount to feel "rich." I'd rather actually be rich and you won't get there gambling. It's certainly possible you could parlay into a big win or even use winnings to open a restaurant. But, outside of hypotheticals, strictly gambling or playing cards for a living is a waste of your time financially speaking. The ROI is garbage compared to what else is out there right now. Don't let MD see that lol

I agree with that. I mentioned it a few days ago, that I wouldn't encourage anyone to gamble for a living these days, the amount of time it takes to get running and making even a paltry wage could be put to better use teaching yourself to code.

It will, seems like you know the sport and fighters very well from all your post reads..

Pick your spots better Marz.. Even out your bets more.. Go bigger on only one or two fights you really feel good about. Trail proven winners if all else fails...

yea, like if you have -120 you're betting 1.2 to win 1 or if you have +120 you're risking 1 to win 1.2. And, you're doing that across all your bets, no risking 3 units on one bet and 2 on the other just cause you feel better/worse about it etc. The point is, the risk amount is always same.

Well, give flat betting a shot. Once you're up 15-20 units then you can, do something technically irresponsible but that's why it is gambling, risk 5 units on a play.

Be happy to, if I ever learn how to scrub the ID files. The Aimara is still at least a month away from being camera-ready: his tank has no lights yet, and needs to be covered in sheets at all time because it attacks anyone that comes within ten feet the tank, and splits its face wide open against the glass. Even as babies, these things are insanely territorial and have zero fear. Nothing like piranhas. And they grow up to look like this:

Yeah, of course it is, but that's not the comparison. Rich in my mind is being able to stop working for money ever again, be able to buy anything you want, go anywhere you want, do anything you want. $10M invested poorly should be able to get you $500k/yr to do whatever the hell you want with.

Agreed... It does vary from person to person though.

If Jay Z and Beyonce combined only had 10 mill liquid in the bank they would freak out and panic for sure... For the extreme poor and or drug addicted on the streets a 100 bucks means the world..

Think the dude that just bought the Clippers for 2 billion cares about a measly 10 million cash? Probably a days pay for a guy like that... Lol....

Fair nuff. Really though, past 250k a year in interest you should be able to do all of those things fairly easily. I mean you don't get to have as much of a Patek Philippe collection as the 500k but you're still able to live a fairly luxurious lifestyle. $500k you're making more than some partners at big NYC law firms and fairly high-up bankers.
