#4871FRIDAY CHALLENGER PARLAY: RIBA + POSPISIL [-103]
Both these matches are in Spain. Riba & Pospisil are two of the in-form clay court Challenger performers right now. Riba is up against Paire who is capable, but has not been in good form on this surface. Pospisil gets Spaniard Olaso who did beat him last year on clay, but since then it's Pospisil who has elevated his game.Comment -

#4873Hard to go against her, but you always have to wonder how the girls are going to react to having that #1 hung next to their names. Let's face it Woz has been #1 in play for most of the end portion of the year, just now the rankings have caught up to her play. As usual, I'd only use the price in a parlay if you like it. Ana has had a good week, but her serve still troubles me.Comment -

#4874Apparently my skill today is finding non-competitive matches. Blah. Gonna go sleep and see what happens with the Challenger parlay early on. May add some other Challengers if warranted once I can see some more lines in the morning. GL in the overnight.

#4876CHALLENGER PLAY [ECUADOR - QUITO]: LAPENTTI [-125]
The man from Ecuador draws Hocevar on dirt today. The head-2-head reads 3-1 for Hocevar, but the last win in August went to Lapentti albeit it on a different surface. Neither has had a particularly good season on clay, but this tournament seems to bring out something in Lapentti. He has won it five times, the last coming in 2008. Last year, he was taken out in the QF round. Both have been extremely efficient on serve with Lapentti offering no break points in two matches and Hocevar just three, saving all of them. This figures to be a tight match, but I am going to side with the Ecuadoran born Lapentti who seems to show his best in this home environment.Comment -

#4880CHALLENGER PLAY [ECUADOR - QUITO]: FARAH [-145]
Farah faces Dutra Da Silva whom he just beat in Colombia about ten days ago on clay. Farah has an edge to this because of a serve that has cooked double digit aces in both matches in this tournament. Dutra Da Silva has been solid on serve as well, but does not possess as big a weapon there.Comment -

#4886Yikes. Not sure why you would load up on the same play at different prices like that. Hopefully it doesn't matter at the end of the day and Farah wins, but that's dangerous.Comment -

i didnt have a choice. max limit until they reset the price. the price was going up. i didnt mind, its all winnings from morning tennis.
like you said, hopefully it hits. cant see why farah would be such a favourite being the lower seed. plus he has played well against his opponent and that shouldnt really change here. not enough time to really change one's game up.Comment -

#4888eaglesphan,
in your opinion, does my money drive the price up???? i would have thought it would take alot more than that to drive the price up, but then how many people bet on challenger tennis?Comment -

#4889$300 isn't going to be the reason. To move as much as it did, there would have been a substantial amount of money in the thousands I would presume to move it from -145 to -200. Could be a series of bets or one huge bet, never know.Last edited by EaglesPhan36; 10-08-10, 04:44 PM.Comment -

#4890CHALLENGER PLAY [SACRAMENTO]: KENDRICK [-105]
Kendrick draws Sweeting in what amounts to a coin flip. They've played several times in their careers. Kendrick traditionally does well at this tournament, that is my reasoning for taking him here. This could definitely go either way - if Kendrick serves well, I like him.Comment -

#4896MAD MATH FRIDAY NIGHT
The key here is to flag a match with a potential for 3 sets, take both players to win 3 at plus odds and reap rewards if it goes the distance. Taking a shot with Monfils-Stepanek. Stepanek has been fortunate to survive to this point, but has an extra day of rest after getting the walkover on Thursday. Monfils went three grueling hours vs. Roddick and that could effect him some today. Monfils even in winning this week has not been the model of consistency, so if Stepanek can get his serve in, he could take a set here and push this one to 3 sets.
Monfils Wins 2-1 [+305]
Stepanek Wins 2-1 [+547]
Let's hit this shit for big money. No whammies!
