Crap. Granollers is Taylor Denting me like yesterday. Competitive 1st set, shit 2nd set. Have to have a tie break in the 3rd if Soderling wins in straights just to push. All that was needed was a fairly competitive 6-4 set, but noooooo.

Kubot draws Petzschner here. Petz had to work hard to get past Robert in 5. He struggled to get his 1st serve in and only saved 6 of his 13 break chances given. Kubot meanwhile was popping on serve with 17 aces and he was getting his 1st serve in almost 75% of the time. When he gets that 1st serve in, he is usually competitive. Petz could come back strong today, but he showed some definite cracks in the armor in Round 1. If Kubot can maintain even play from set-to-set, I think he can stay within the handicap. Also gonna take a pot shot on the ML for small meat at +310.Comment -

I think because of Petzschner's recent good run in Halle. At least that's where I would think the public would be looking. That's home turf, so that's not a great assumption to make I don't think that his success there will translate. Probably more so, his experience on grass vs. Kubot's inexperience. Public has done some dumb shit this tournament, let's hope this is another one. Remember the public pushed Almagro's price up from a pick 'em to -160 and he got crushed and was coming in off injury.
It's also the last match on the men's board, so it was bound to have more action.Comment -
