Damn I am awful. Now invested in 5Dimes though with some new funds, may the force be with me.

Play #27: [ATP - Marseilles] Serra/Kunitsyn OVER 22 (-120) Two guys who will battle in a match, but remain inconsistent enough on serve where breaks will happen and I expect a competitive match as neither is a tremendous force on an indoor surface with both winning around 50% or less of their matches on the surface in their careers.

Play #28: [ ATP - Copa TelMex] Victor Hanescu +136 All the money is on Schwank in this one as it opened with Hanescu at +100. I don't think the money train is due to injury but more to Schwank's form as he has been killing it on clay, but at the Challenger level in 2010. That's the main difference I see here is experience. Schwank is certainly capable of doing damage, but Hanescu is a more than capable clay courter when he's right. His surprise defeat to Ricardo Mello may have been more a reflection of Mello being in a zone than Hanescu playing particularly bad. Hanescu has been a solid performer on dirt in main draws whereas Schwank's inflated win percentage has come courtest of Challengers. Schwank's wins in Santiago in early February were his first main draw wins on the ATP level in a year. I'll take the talent advantage here despite the wonky line movement.

Haha. FU money train. Hanescu wins in straights. Lots of money went in on Schwank, so the books must be happy and so am I to actually get a winner.

Play #29: [ATP - Marseilles Open 13] Zverev/Guez UNDER 23 (-118) Deciding picking a side in this is fruitless as Zverev has made it out of the first round in main draws just twice since last July and Guez is pretty much an unknown factor, but does get some home cooking in France. So, gonna lock in on the under here simply because on paper it looks like it could go either way and that'd be a public (dumb ass ME) time to jump on the over. Zverev has little confidence here, but if the light turns back on - he is a capable guy. On the other side, Guez may just need some early confidence to roll this chump stain.

Yeah I'm thinking most of this month, I may be staying on underdogs for the most part until I can get somewhere closer to break even. That way if I go 1-1 and hit plus money, I make up the deficit. The totals are the one thing I am trying that I haven't really done much before this season, so they will probably be a bit rough to start I would think. Heck, I think I am 0-3 or 0-4 on totals.

Well I think I said F*ck, then Yeah, then F*ck, then Yeah about twelve times in that match. Looked like the first set was going to be over in 9 or 10 and went to a tie break. Zverev then breaks to go up 4-2 in the second and then yacks up his serve, but breaks back to get a 10 game second set and escapes me with a push. I'll take it.

Play #30: [ATP - Copa TelMex] Nalbandian/Starace OVER 22 (-122) I'll pay for Nalbandian to show me he's going to come out and dominate. I think he struggles for at least part of a set here which could keep this competitive and perhaps even go three.

Play #31: [PARLAY - ATP Open 13] Llodra/Benneteau +112 French duo both have solid advantages in their match-ups. Llodra is up against fellow Frenchman Vasselin, but his power serve is suited well to indoor courts. Llodra lost a third set tie break to Chiudinelli in Rotterdam last week, punishing him 6-1 in the first before dropping two tie breakers. Llodra though has been at home in France on this surface, winning in Lyon last Fall and losing in the Final to Tsonga last February. Vasselin fought thru qualis here, but otherwise is mostly experienced at Challenger level on this surface. Benneteau is off to a beautiful start in 2010 and faces qualifier Bohli here. Bohli lost to Andreas Seppi in Rotterdam, a player with very little to punish you on this type of surface. Benneteau should continue his good run to start the year as well as more of his own success on home soil where he beat Federer in Paris last fall. he's also made the quarters here in 2 of the last 3 years.

Play #32: [ATP - Copa TelMex] Gasquet/Chela OVER 21.5 (-115) Chela is a decent competitor on dirt. Yes, a lot of his damage is on the Challenger level in the past year on clay, but looking at his main draw matches on the ATP level, he's usually put up a fight against some decent players other than the Top 10. Gasquet is making his first appearance since losing to Youzhny in the 1st round of the Australian Open and has only played five clay court matches in the past year. Gasquet should pull through here as he is a pretty solid clay court player when his game is on. But, I think Chela's experience and having already played a few clay court matches this season could at least see him trouble Gasquet enough to get over the number of games. If Gasquet rolls, then I hope they make him take a piss test.

Play #32: [PARLAY] Ferrer/Isner&Querrey [Doubles] (-122) Ferrer is a solid clay court player and he draws a very favorable first round match-up against Greul. Should be just what Ferrer needs to get his clay court season on-track. Love the Big Boy duo of Isner and Querrey. They went 2-1 at the Australian Open, so they do have time on-court together and appear comfortable and loose when they get on the doubles court. Their big serves are obviously a huge asset to doubles and their improved movement/length only helps.

Ferrer was unimpressive in the 2nd set, but let Greul beat himself. Doubles match was a thriller. Isner/Querrey came from down 3 points in the fast breaker ending to win 10-8.

Play #34: [WTA - Dubai] Marion Bartoli -108 It's WTA, do I need a reason? Okay, Bartoli has yet to yield a break point opportunity in two matches. She does anything close to that and she can win today against Li.

Play #35: [ATP - Open 13] Llodra/Baghdatis OVER 22 (-120) Llodra has to bring the big serve he had working yesterday against Vasselin for this one to work. 17 aces and 89% of the points won on his 1st serve. Baghdatis brings a solid serve as well, so if both start fast this could be an early tie break that gives a two set match a chance to cash this still. Very important IMO for Llodra to be competitive in the 1st set or Baggy may roll him. On French soil and this surface, I think Llodra can hang tough enough.

Play #36: [PARLAY] Hanescu/Haas +102 Hanescu's price jumped greatly after his first round demolishment of Schwank to get him back on track. He faces a similarly experienced player today in Santiago Ventura. Ventura is another guy who has wet his clay court whistle more at the Challenger level with some success, but has failed to produce regularly in main draws at the ATP level. If Hanescu brings the focus and serve of Round 1, he should move on. Haas faces a potentially tricky spot against Malisse, but Malisse may have done him the best service by knocking off Radek Stepanek last week in San Jose to show Haas how good he can be. These two have played 12 times with Haas holding a 9-3 advantage although many were played a long time ago. Haas once dominated this Memphis tournament and has won it three times, but faltered here in the 1st round last year. Still, if he's to kick start his season this is the time and place I believe. Haas has to have his serve working to win this and it was awful in a loss to Istomin last week, but it's capable of aces and bring the Rolaids for the double faults when he struggles. Still, if Haas can get comfortable early he is the better player on this surface.
