It’s really disappointing to see a book as reputable as Betonline choosing to cheat its customers like this. It feels completely unnecessary and makes no sense.

Something weird going on at Betonline.

But from there it is arguable that if they booked the bet they should pay the bet anyway, or if they should be allowed to cancel obvious palpable errors like this one.

I waver on that question and don't think it's an easy call to say one thing to cover every situation. But just about every book, including all the US licensed ones, do have a term that says they have the right to cancel errors like this one.

If this were me in your shoes, I would not be surprised they voided and be disappointed my shot at those odds didn't make it through, but not angry with my book over that one.

That bet was listed for betting for a long time (at least 12 to 14 hours) and they never changed the odds or removed it during the day yesterday. Now they are retroactively mad that they valued the Celtics at the "wrong number"? That's their fault, not mine.

It’s a sister site which BOL runs but runs separately from BOL. So you can have accounts at both places.

So Sportsbetting is finally joining BOL and creating VIP rewards beginning Feb 5th. I haven’t been with SB as long as BOL but hoping they’ll match $250 bonus I received when BOL started their VIP last year.

I'd guess it's just a grading error and you are speaking to CS who is not even checking, just assuming you are wrong and grasping for the reason.

Sounds like something they will fix if you can get it in front of the right manager.

Check your PMs and I will send you a suggestion.

I guess I owe a slight apology to BetOnline for being impatient, but 7,000 is a lot to just forget about. I placed a bet on a soccer match in the Same Game Parlays, wagering that Ellyes Skhiri would have 50+ passes. He had 51 attempted passes, yet Betonline graded the bet as a loss, claiming it was based on “completed passes” despite that wording never being mentioned when placing the bet.
Nowhere does it say “completed passes”, but in my screenshot taken from Betonline’s own platform in their Bet Builderit clearly states “passes attempted.” Despite providing this evidence, support keeps responding with generic answers and refuses to acknowledge the actual issue.
Customer service doesn’t seem to care at all that I’m showing them proof from their own website. They refuse to listen, ignore the clear evidence I’ve provided, and continue to dismiss my concerns with copy-paste responses.
Any advice how to escalate this further?

Official stats proving Skhiri had 51 passes:https://optaplayerstats.statsperform.../match-summary
This is official Opta data, which is widely used by sportsbooks and analysts. Yet, Betonline refuses to acknowledge it.

Recently, I won a few sports bets and tried to withdraw again. They once again requested ID docs and a call to verify. During this call, they asked me where I had been playing from and what device I use. I told them I usually use my phone (US phone with data), and travel quite a bit for work, but told them where I had placed the bets from. The agent then said they need to investigate my account further and my account was then locked (I cannot log in anymore). There's ~$15k in the account that I now cannot access, including at least $10k that I deposited.

I've tried contacting their customer support again and again on what I can do to get access to the account, but I keep getting the same canned response: "This is to kindly inform you that our team is currently reviewing your account. Once the review has been concluded you will be notified via email." I've tried via phone call, live chat, and email. It has been over 7 weeks now - my account was originally locked on 12/14/2024. Does anyone have any experience on what to do to get them to actually unlock the account? This is insane to me - I provided all ID requested, called multiple times to prove my ID, and broke no rules. I thought BOL was supposed to be a trustworthy offshore...
not surprising to hear. wish you good luck. if you head over to twitter, their 'marketing man davey' will post spam about all the million dollar bets they are writing. and look how they dont want to pay you 15,000$. maybe post this on their twitter accounts, and then repost on yours, try and get some engagement going
hope you took screenshots on your phone, i would post those too, ask davey how you can get into your acct and get paid and show him the bets you made on your phone

I funded with crypto. I reside in the US, and that's the address on my account but I travel frequently for work. I placed a lot of my bets either in the US (Washington state where I live) or in Bermuda (where I frequently travel to for work).

I try not to be rude even when obviously upset, especially when someone is holding your money. It’s like being rude to a waiter, just asking for your food to be messed with. This is my first time dealing with BetOnline, so all I have to go off of is reviews. Things I have noticed dealing with customer service is 1 or 2 rude or lets just say least helpful reps, and alot of spelling errors in some emails. But then again, there were also good reps who reassured me, then other emails where spelling and punctuation was better. Those might not seem like major signs of anything but it does make people think things can be sketch. I get it though, english isnt easy and neither is the customer service job, some people can be assholes while they are just doing their job. If you don’t mind answering my question, how have you noticed them go down in qaulity this past season, or over time you’ve been using them, and just things i should look out for, like ticket misgrading, or even my newest fear which is someone logging in and spending my funds on something random like poker. (I turned on 2FA so hopefully that will never happen)
