I withdrew a large portion without a problem and then transferred the remainder to Piwi. However i've had nothing but problems accessing the pinnacle portal through Piwi, errors out every time. Both piwi and odsy customer service have assured me that I'm grandfathered in to this merger and will be able to play with Piwi, but so far it's been a major pain. I'm traveling the next couple days, will try different VPNs and browsers when I'm back home. If any US players have had their accounts transferred and have successfully been able to wager through the Piwi pinnacle platform, details would be appreciated!

mmm not exactly. Last part of the mail I received says this

"You may withdraw a portion of your funds now and/or continue using your Sport Odyssey account until 25th of December (Christmas Day). After that day. On the 26th of December, all remaining balances will "automatically" move to PIWI247 and we will send you the log-in details to your same email."

They really need to get their story straight.

This is what the same person sent to me:

    Hello Sir,

Yes, they accept USA players but you have to provide a VPN or another IP.
If you have further questions, let us know.

Probably because it was a low four-figure balance.

They're clearly playing a dirty game. But why?

If they have the money and are going to pay like me and @tennis1995, then why all this mess and lies? One excludes the other in my opinion.
If they don't have money for everyone, they'll just pay some and close the business. And what will you do to them?
Either way, their reputation suffers and the reputation of Piwi247 that took them over.

Another question - what is Piwi247's reputation now?
What is your experience with Piwi247 via Asianconnect?
I have an account with Piwi247 directly, not via Asianconnect but i stopped using them for a while since I took a break on betting due to pandemic. I havent use them again ever since i'm back. But I like odsy88 customer service more than them

I just withdraw my balance now and it was processed fast.
Odsy88 has been good on my end ever since i've used their service.
Few months ago I had a complaint about wrong settlement of bet on my ps3838 account and they helped me.
Maybe we should not judge them first. For me, no service is perfect.
There was a delayed but the important thing is they pay their customer in the end

To me it is an absolute insolence to close your business and basically at the same time announce that you are having issues which do not allow any of your customers to withdraw their money.
As a consequence, said to them and will not place any more bet through my Orbit account with them until I got my money.

Keeping you guys updated regarding my progress - is somebody else experiencing the same problem?
Alright so now as the Blockchain seems to be back up they are asking me for KYC which will take between 3-5 days!!
That is just insane being honest with you.

Big red flag, they are trying to buy time for whatever reason. They could have let me known about the necessary KYC already yesterday morning when I told them I was going to withdraw my money to speed up the process.

I don't get it, I thought Piwi were the same guys as Asian connect, they are acquiring sportodyssey who are on exactly the same business model, it doesn't add anything to the table

It is type of getting shady... They have been so good so far. Will keep you updated about the progress of my request.

I received the same response when I made a withdrawal a few months ago. They eventually paid, but it took some persistence on my end.

    SportOdyssey Closes, Acquired by PIWI247

    Here's the email:

    Dear Ma'am/Sir,

We regret to let you know that as a result of a change of Management on our end, SportOdyssey88 will be closing its service for all customers since it has been acquired by PIWI247 – one of the leading online betting services.

Piwi247 welcomes you to make use and enjoy their service (www.piwi247.com). It’s a platform wherein you could access three (3) products with the use of a single account. The products mentioned are Pinnacle, Casino, and an Exchange Platform. They also offer a variety of payment options that you can use (Skrill, Neteller and Bitcoin.)

Moving forward, you may opt to withdraw your remaining funds or you may still continue to bet and play using your Sportodyssey88 accounts until 25th of December, 2022 and afterward, all accounts will be suspended or closed. By 26th of December, 2022 all remaining accounts with balances shall be automatically moved to PIWI247.

Should you have further concerns or clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us.

so, in your case BIA admitted that the scam was caused by one of their employees? in my case, they shift the blame on Orbit's side for not protecting their customer's accounts. you also had a fake bet put on your Orbit account?
