I'm gonna wake up for my first 7 am game today because of the live bet. The Germany-Aussie live betting took me out of the hole Serbia put me in. I think I'm gonna stick to live until the 2nd round of matches since they are so tight and unpredictable.

I'm away in the morning so thought i'd get these in with plenty of time to spare. I've been talking to Mihaita as well as Wilforth and we all agree this is a bet worth taking on. Me and wil haven't set a unit size but since i'm out in the morning i'm just going to throw this out there and see how much wil wants to add himself, to divide into the separate threads.

I am fully aware that robben is out, but the quality of this Dutch side cannot be dismissed. Van der Vaart should take his place and whilst Holland lose the pace of Robben, they do improve in creativity and passing the ball. Denmark's style will mean a lot of emphasis is put on wing play and counter attack, but Holland should be able to cope with Van Bommel and De Jong.

The line is dropping which is a good thing, but there's a lot of money on the Dutch, so this is not a sharp play at all.

I agree with your play, but I think your unit size is way too big. Denmark do not want to lose their their opening round match let alone be embarassed by losing to 2 or more. We have no idea how these teams start in the 1st round that's why I think unit sizes should be smaller than he matches that are to come later on.

Completely agree and regretted the big bet as soon as i clicked it

Dude, why do you always come in the soccer forum telling people what to do? Like if you had something to add about your perspective on the game is one thing. But telling people what and the ammount they should wager is not for YOU to decide. Same when I made my Germany play. You came in there talking shit always quoting me trying to correct me. We wont ALWAYS agree on games which is why I prefer when people talk about the game itself, not on why you shouldnt bet a certain ammount on a certain game.

What we need to take into consideration here is a weather factor. The local time they are playing at (1.30 pm) is the worst time to play ball. I used to play soccer a lot and I know that. Look at the footballers, they just look like they dont wanna run anymore.
That match could go either way or stay 0-0 but I figured it out that better team on paper which is Holland will get the luck. They got it as an own goal.

The temperature was only in the high teens. perhaps 18-19C, not very hot. What we seem to be seeing is the fact teams are just so negative, more afraid to lose than to go for the win.

I'm surprised you guys went so big on the openers. By next week we can make better predictions after seeing how teams have reacted, a lot of surprises so far benefiting those who go for big value bets.

Well, we work on a 1-10 scale and i lost a 6 unit bet and we lost a 4 unit bet. Just misread how teams were going to play early on.

Our strategy will improve

Supported them since I was a young 'un, my best mates dad at a young age was an exiled Owl and they used to go, so I used to tag along too. Got absolutely hooked on the team instantly and have been a season ticket holder for 8 of the last 12 years for all my sins.

Wouldnt swap any of it for the world though - being a fan is all about taking the low points aswell as the high points.
