Agree with you on the Inter pick, and yes Roma odds look to good to be true, which most times usually is. Staying away from that one but best of luck.

#737I like Atalanta Bergamo PK (-130)... reasoning... Napoli sucks on the road... and they havent beaten Bergamo in their stadium since 1995... thats 14 years... Downfall to this pick is Atalanta has had trouble scoring.
I also like AC Milan -1 with the return of Beckham and a sucky Genoa team on the road. What do you think hatta?
Any thoughts on the Copa Del Rey? Is there any value for Recre at home against a under achieving atletico. I know tomorrow for the copa del rey... Hercules seems like a wonderful PK spot....

#739I have to chime in about atalanta... I just read Turkzz thread and appairently atalanta is in disarray... even though napoli has a historic record of suckage for a decade plus there... im not confident atalanta can score a goal or play defense.
On that note... there will be homeside upsets/draws tomorrow... which is why im reluctant to take Inter Milan with everyone else... They are only -145... they dont have Eto'o either. Yes Inter needs the wins to get back at the top of the table... but Chievo plays well at home... that game is a pass and I dont even like the heavy odds for the U 2.5... eitherComment -

#745Wow, I can't believe Roma, allowed 2 goals in ONE minute, and the 90th at that!
That's exactly why this Italian league is so fvckin dodgy! Mafia must have been involved.

#757AS Roma - Chievo Verona
AS Roma -0.75 @ 1.85 (5dimes)
After playing on wednesday, AS Roma and Chievo Verona meet each other on Stadio Olimpico from Rome. Chievo have lost against Inter, 1-0, and they've only impressed by injuring Inter's defender, romanian Cristian Chivu. Actually, besides the goal, that was the only match action that could have caught someone's attention, Inter winning with absolutely no problem against this modest team.
AS Roma was extremly unlucky in their match against Caligari, or better said, the players considered themselves victorious too early. A soccer's cliche says that "the match ends when the refferee blows the final whistle" and in Roma's case it was very suitable. Allowing 2 goals in the injury times of the second half is not something you see everyday, and you would never expect this from a good italian team, that played so many years in the Uefa Champions League, and except for the last season, they have always ended in the top 4. But that match should (and definetly is for Roma's players) be history as they've got to focus on another championship game, against Chievo Verona.
Roma felt on the 5th position after losing those 2 important points from Caligari, while Napoli took advantage and has put 1 point in front of AS Roma, winning 2-0 at Atalanta Bergamo. As you see, the fight for the 4th place is big in Italy, and Roma knows that such a wrong step as the one made in the match with Caligari is, by any means necesary, something to be avoided in the future. AS Roma has the home field advantage this time, and at home, they've only lost 2 matches (in the begining of the season, when they were in a bad form) but won 6 other matches. Chievo, on road, is a decent team, winning 4 macthes, drawing in one match and losing other 4. That's probably the main reason why Roma has such a big odd against a modest team.
I'm confident in AS Roma, and I think that they will manage to dominate their opponent, especially since it's a weaker one, Chievo Verona.Soccer record (2010) : 244-160-24

#758Inter Milano - Siena
over 2.75 @ 1.99 (pinnacle)
The second and also last match of the day in italy will be between the first and the last team in the table : Inter Milano receives the visit of a desperate team, Siena, last one from Serie A, a team that has only 12 points after 18 matches. Currently, they are 4 points away from the salvation places. Siena changed 3 managers so far, but they seem to be far from finding the miracle that would save them this year. Siena's start of the year couldn't have been worse : they've lost the "toscana" derby against Fiorentina, with a humiliating 5-1. Siena seems condamned to continue their lose streak, otherwise, they wouldn't be playing against the leader tonight.
Internatzionale Milano is getting closer to another title in Italy, Jose Mourinho's team having a comfortable 8 points lead (possible 5 points lead if Milan wins their match left to play) and playing great at the time. Altough Inter will be missing few players, especially Samuel Eto'o, players who will represent their countries in the African Nations Cup, Inter's squad si strong enough to substitute any player. Internatzionale is not only the Serie A leader, but they are also the best attack in their league, socring 37 goals so far. Siena on the other hand, has the worst defense in the league, allowing 33 goals.
The last five matches between the two teams have ended with at least 3 goals, so there are many chances for my bet to be a good one. Inter playing at home often represents a succesful formula for a high scoring match, epsecially when th nerazzuri play against weak teams. Also, Siena playing against strong sides is again a very likely match for lots of goals. Therefore, I love the over 2.75 here, at a good odd of 1.99Soccer record (2010) : 244-160-24

#769Well, I'm new to the sport. Euro 08 was the first tournament I watched a lot of matches of... I was hooked instantly. I decided to pick an EPL team to follow the next season. I was really impressed with Modric, Corluka and Pavlyuchenko during Euro 08. So, I chose the Spurs... Plus, I didn't want to choose a big 4 team... seems too easy that way. The teams I root for in American aren't normally good.. it makes when they do finally win that much sweeter.

anyway, i dont want to offend anyone, but why do you call NFL football ? i saw some matches, and some players dont even touch the ball with their foot for the entire match....soccer is more likely to be called that(which is what we do
