In all seriousness too, you gotta up the age limit dude. Actually. We have a few managers who are like 21-24 years old, and these guys have actually had sex with some of the 17-18 year old girls who are under them. They also threw a party and got a couple of the 16 and 17 year old girls plastered drunk, and nothing happened to them. My boss would say its different because I am 31. But I am not trying to sue them, just trying to keep it as good as possible. I dont expect to get fired. I went in to talk to my direct supervisor Monday and I told her I know I shouldnt have given a present but I told her I assure her I never have and never would touch a subordinate or ask her to come to my house. My boss told me dont worry, she knows I would never do that. i told her I dont want to get fired, and she told me dont worry im not getting fired.
But this is past her right now. It is actually in the hands of the company owner right now. So I expect to be transferred or change shifts where I am working when this girl is in school. No matter what you say, she is still emotionally immature. Everybody has acted like they knew everything at that age and then realised 5 yrs later that they knew nothing. There is no way she can have the maturity of a woman your age or a few yrs younger. She is still a girl. If you actually care about her, you should leave her alone, and let her learn about life with people her own age, rather than get involved with her and make her grow up before her time. Its not fair on her, and it wont be fair on you when she goes to college and realizes she isnt ready to be stuck with you.
