See photo. It's easy to argue tha Chara's arm is high on Pacioretty's face, but his arm made contact with his shoudlder first and then slid across. The pic looks as though it was a dirty hit, but it wasn't.

It's a violent game for sure, but this is what makes hockey one fo the best sports in the world.

i love it how all the jealous habs haters are all saying it was not intentional and all the rest of the world are saying CHARA should die for that. Bottom line, all hockey players are fully aware how dangerous the bench area is and they are also aware of the partition. CHARA knew all about it and did you all forget that CHARA has been out to kill PATCHY for quite some time and even said he'd take his head off one day. he's tried to fight him and slash him in every game. don't you remember how PATCHY skated up to him and literally laughed at his face and CHARA attacked him again. CHARA was planning to take his head off for months now. he's hated him more than any other, and this was his chance at revenge.

BOTTOM LINE. it was fukkin intentional.. I hope he suffers for what he did to poor patchy. and poor patchy's parents. they flew out from CONNECTICUT to see their son play and they watched that horror live while their son might be dead..
