Not sure I would be any good at it. Have to Re-Humanise, myself.

      What's the podcast about?

      Billy's joined the National Front
He always was (just) a little runt
He's got his hand in the air with the other c unts
      You've got to humanize yourself

I bet, nothing is as easy as it looks. Not sure I could be on the cast myself, but if you need ideas or help would be glad to do it.

Getting to heavy in here. Need something lite.

Had the biggest crush on this women.

One of my favorite covers, is this one.
Have you seen Belfast yet btw?

And hell yeah, Gloria Estefan is the very definition of Latina Heat.

Thanks for that, god dam she's beautiful. I would bang her for her voice alone.

Any podcast out there that explain lyrics and song meaning? How they relate to history, ideology or self interpretation.

Case in point. All the Gen-Xers that loved Rage Against the Machine in the day. Now hate them since that found out what the music is about.

The meaning is in the name of the band.

Tull sums up those people pretty good.

Really don't mind if you sit this one out
My word's but a whisper, your deafness a shout
I may make you feel, but I can't make you think
Your sperm's in the gutter, your love's in the sink

Spotify is crushing the market today, and there are a few, but not many, real good rock culture podcasts.

Not for nothing, Everlasting Love is only one of two pop songs to ever chart of BillBoard for six consecutive decade.
This is the finale of Belfast if you haven't seen it yet.

Sorry I forgot to reply to that statement. That's a cool vid! Being mostly Irish and who's great grand parents came from Ireland. You would think I would know more about Irish oppression. But I'm not very hip on the topic. No I have not seen the movie, but I don't watch that many movies.

I do know that Rory Gallager was one of the few bands that would go into Northern Ireland to perform around the time of the bombings.

You tell me what that song means in the context of the film. I would say it shows contempt, perseverance and sadness from what I was seeing. But I haven't seen the movie either.

                          You pretty much nailed it.
Life and times of the innocents growing up in the IRA era.
The movie got ripped off from all the accolades because nobody wants to talk about the IRA bombings in Northern Ireland from the 60's and beyond.

The Police also did a great vid on this. Does seem like a meaningless fight. But like I said I don't know much about it. I think I would be on the side of the Irish though.

Are you Irish? You seem interested in the topic and posted that Olivers Army vid?

Dexy's had a radical thought in 1982, another hybrid UK/Irish band I love.

Amazing how one hit was so detrimental.
People still don't get how much of a great band they were.
Kevin Rowland hasn't stopped in over 40 years now.

Lemonheads are legendary here is the Boston/New England area, they're one of many terrific Boston based bands, Aerosmith being the GOAT.

I used to like this Boston band a lot too.

Here are a few deep cuts from my younger years

Interestingly, the Psych Furs song Pretty In Pink was on the soundtrack of the films Pretty In Pink and Some Kind of Wonderful. Flesh For Lulu's I Go Crazy was also on the SKOW soundtrack.

How was the punk rock scene on the west coast in the 80's?
I bet it was probably pretty much the same as the East Village was in NYC Bowery, CBGB's were huge back in the day.

I used to like this Boston band a lot too.

The opening riff reminds me of this Boston Band.
