Was reviewing Omicron numbers, starting to go parabolic in US and Europe, still don't see the cases in hospitals and remain confident its likely gonna be better than having a really effective vaccine since everyone is probably just gonna get it and have mild symptoms but with cases surging we are likely to see some fears...lots of the e-commerce stonks caught bids, likely gonna spray gun some calls on SHOP AMZN STNE etc

I'm back on auto pilot for today and tomorrow. Sold most of those SPY calls that expire today, and have a trailing stop for if they can ekk out some more today. I suspect the trading will dry up probably in the next hour and that will be bout it going into the Christmas holiday. I kept all of my short positions which are mostly QQQ and IWM puts that expire in March, and on Monday I think there will be another chance to jump in on that play.

I originally bought when it was 1.98. Sold 1/3 at 11 and another at 55. Omicron will not last forever. China gave a discount on the way companies changed the batteries are installed. Nio allows the people that buy there product the decision to pay for battery …monthly or in price of car. China has bailed nio out of financial problems…I think twice. Nio is being pushed in Asia, S America and any place that China does business. If not for the virus it would already be there. Another reason to give them notice

Looking at latest IHME Covid case projections...this shits about to go parabolic....highest number of cases by 2-3x in US...hospitalizations and deaths should be okay but will see a spike...I doubt they let this get past w/o dropping some nukes on the market....

I think any short squeeze would be short lived. This week is all computer Algos so keep that in mind. I have my short play put that expire in march going and if we do have a short squeeze this week which is probable actually with a slow motion continuous floater up market, then I will come in and short some more on Friday perhaps.
I don't think things will just fall apart this week, but Snowballer has warned us that things will happen that are in the Black Swan camp so I keep an open mind and have small long positions (IWM, QQQ, and XLF) that expire Friday.Comment -

Well it didn't get to $115.75, but I must be pretty desperate for action today as I front ran it at $116.35 right after I mentioned my price because I saw it stop going down. Maybe consider selling covered calls during 2022, but try not to get called until you're ready.
You can get a little cash back for holding it and I think there should be some decent effort to reach around 154 or so. I think.
