My suggestion, if you really want to learn how blockchain will transform economy, there is an Open course through MIT taught by the current SEC chair Gary Gensler, all the videos, power points, and reading material are free...

conversely, there is a great book by George Gilder called “Life After Google” which is less esoteric and gives you a very simple background and conceptual idea of functional use.

Closed out my IWM fade in case we get a fugazzi rally tomorrow

Added FDs in ROKU $230....close it quickly if we pervail...play book is go premarket green to red or Red to green, so don't be faked out if it looks ugly tomorrow am

If we get a rally i will come right back and fade it. Fomc is Wednesday

Expecting a turn around Tuesday huh? OK, I was kind of surprised that the market went down today, and I still think we may have a rescue operation later today that will pull the SPY and the rest closer to the close on Friday.
I rather think we get a choppy market tomorrow with not much going on either way. Then more of the same Wednesday until the showtime for the Fed. I'm already loaded up on QQQ puts that expire in Mid march. Other than that, I'm going to keep the cash at my side and wait until the Fed announcement. IF the market explodes to the upside, I'll add to the puts in do time probably late Thursday or even Friday going into the close taking a chance over the weekend just like I did last weekend. Today I sold all of my SPY call positions at a small loss from what I bought them at on Friday, but I can't win all the plays every time right. If I didn't choose today's closing for the options I would keep them but the longer the time period the more expensive the price. I got today wrong and it was time to lick the wounds and come back another day ready to play.

Spy is tough, so I avoid even with volatility, they can just buy up one of FAANGs or Tesla and keep it dry humping all time highs...

Also feels like a tradable range on IWM versus up only in SPY & QQQ

IYT has held up pretty well, if we lose 50MA Weekly I would go full nuke fade on everything

I've been short the IWM since mid NOV. with TZA. I thought I was going to get out last week when it started a pretty good rally but it couldn't break through the 200 or 100 DMA. Take your choice those 2 moving averages are entangled for the last 4 weeks. Today it dipped pretty far, but I see the long tail candle forming this afternoon as it fights back. I think it will be hard for IWM to get back to the 200 DMA anytime soon, so I'm sticking with my long term short play here. If it does, I'll be looking to see if it can break though before taking profits.

After the producer inflation report this morning the IWM is strong after dropping with everything else at the open. The Trobinator laying off the IWM for the short term looks to be paying off. Nasdaq still sucks however so things are divided. I'll be looking to short the IWM if and when it gets to around 219 today. Right now it has a little way to go as it is around 216.50.

Between human and computer viruses we are a very vulnerable society. I have been predicting the proliferation of germ warfare (Covid?) for years. I also have a solid background in networking and cybersecurity. The threat to our infrastructure and potentially our financial systems are here and real. Read below.

Not totally sure how this affects wall street but this one is at the underpinnings of a large percent of our networks.

I closed out the ROKU calls with the quickness after a quick 30% move

watching TZA and SQQQ for another turn

i did take a new position in a speculative uranium miner FCUUF@0.6, it’s a penny stock and otc which is probably the worst thing u can buy right now but I think once uranium spot rebounds, which I am 100% sure it will, this is in a prime position to move above a one bone. It’s speculative and my very large positions in uranium remain UUUU & CCJ which I have started to add more here lately as well.

Wow over the counter speculation play. That takes a set of stones in this environment even on a natural resource play. I do like the overall nuke rocks play and miners in general. Most of the mining has been beaten down this year but they will rise once again and when they do, nuke rocks will continue to lead along with other hard to find unobtainium type of stuff.

Took a long position in TBT which is a play on rising interest rates. I plan on hodling this pretty much all next year.

recommend cash on hand, get transfers done, goods you need in house and absolutely no equity or crypto long positions.

It sounds like you think things are gonna fall apart. Should I also buy QQQ puts, SPY puts, IWM puts, and of course XLF puts? just in case I don't like having cash. I prefer to walk around with gold chunks jammed up my arse to use as a payment method.

Well I was expecting the nasdaq to break down through a pretty diamond shape pattern I drew but it bounced and I scalped TQQQ for 60%, the SPY did exact same thing...IWM held support but didn’t bounce...

all in all I suspect we might be in for a good old fashion rug pull on the bears into FOMC..but I don’t think it will last long...perhaps until the week after Xmas as Snowy is eluding to?

Things lately have been dicey. Also I noticed that bad news is ignored while good news is being praised heavily. Then when we get a little stuff that can't be ignored and the market starts to fail, we get a rescue operation to come in and pump all the markets back up. I've been waiting for things to fall apart now for the last 9 months and as usual things are able to levitate longer than I think they can but it wont last forever.

I usually trade on a 1 to 2 day horizon, or at least that is what makes me the most cash. I have lighten up on my long term stuff except for the short play things. If there is a surprise and things take off like a bat out of hell, I will feel some pain for sure, but as I read the tea leaves here, things are on the brink and getting closer to a bad event.

My tin foil hat goes on for 2 reasons:
1. When I'm trying to received scrambled porn from big dish satellite stations (mostly European Swedish Stuff with outside winter scenery)
2. When we have strange astrological events; on Jan 2 we have a Super New Moon in action and on Jan 4 the earth will be as close to the sun as the earth gets.

Slurry - puts? yes, or at least sell in the money calls against long positions.
just get out and bet sports. get some volatility and sell calls as an out if it flips,
or pick up some UUP or bonds long (the parking spots).

BAD. no guarantees but on the other side what is there really that we would miss out on in just 2-3 weeks ? nada. nothing is going to go up enough to make it worth the risk. The tape looks vile, does it not? Tape don't lie.

Even if it's just tax related (but that's not what they say), the last week of 21 and first week of 22,
just be wary!

Yep, that was a rip you a new one rally on news that everyone pretty much predicted. I front ran the QQQ short right before the end of the day at $397 with some more puts, but I am using my step in method of 2 spots 33% at the first number and the 66% at the 2nd number which happens to be right at that major resistance of $400. This is just another bite at this sandwich for my earlier short play at this spot.
The IWM I'm waiting on, but I will hit those puts as well in 2 spots. 1st one front runs your number a little at 220.75, then again at 222, then finally at 223ish. The typical 16, 33, 50% step in position method here. Again this is another bite at this peach pie as I bought puts that expire in March when at the 241 level.

I'm kind of surprised that they had such a large move today on stuff we all knew about. If I had to predict, I would say that it won't last long.

To me charts look bullish into the resistance I pointed out, staying bullish into tomorrow then we’ll see

I am gonna reload ROKU calls at 215c 23Dec, this can rip 30-60% on 5%, Roku is the goat of daily 5% moves
