Perhaps. However a Panthers win will likely need a huge passing day from Cam Newton for a win as the Bucs should contain him and the CAR RBs on the ground fairly well. Huge differential in confidence between these two teams right now.

And I'll take the Packers against the Lions every time in this situation. GB off a bye and looking to catch the Bears in a critical week with Cutler out and CHI @ SF. The Packers also have 5 division games in their final 7. Time for them to step up.

With that being said, this is probably one of the only times they'll get it right (I have the Steelers of course)....

I would bet that most of the books are taking a ton of Baltimore money right now, and the Greek is likely so unbalanced that they moved to -3.5, but seeing as the +3.5 could be enormously valuable in this game (It always is in Steelers/Ravens games), they're just protecting themselves from getting hit hard the other way by bettors trying to shoot for the push-win middle on -3/+3.5.

I don't really have a strong read on this game with Leftwich in there. I wish I'd been smart enough to hit the Under 46 opener. Probably a stay-away for me, but gun to my head I would say Steelers.

I think Mendenhall is probably good for the Under though, assuming that PIT will be quite run heavy in this game. I don't expect Leftwich to be all that successful in Haley's short passing sets and if Mendenhall doesn't pull up limp again he'll probably get 15+ carries. Do you know what Rainey's status is? I see no mention of him on NFL.com, but a rib injury mentioned elsewhere.

Either way, we're probably talking about PIT running the ball ~40 times in this game which should eat clock like mad. The battle that will matter the most is Flacco vs the PIT secondary, and I would think Ike Taylor and the other DBs will be very aggressive today.
