Ive been on the same picks with Politicin quite often and I remember cashing them. I didn't agree with all of them, but most I was on the same side. I think Sactown is playing better of late and Utah is not the same team from previous years. I do seem them beating the Queens tonight though. Not easily IMO, but they will get it done. Some people will state that if a line looks to good to be true then it usually is. On the other hand, if you like the play and it looks like a golden opportunity to cash, then take it. It wont make you pissed off later when you didn't bet what you originally liked. I don't think this line is too fishy. Utah with a small wager for me. GL
How in the hell is Utah only -2?

#107I wouldn't trust Utah again until they start showing some consistency
Their last road trip
1/17/2011 @ WASHINGTON 101-108 L
1/19/2011 @ NEW JERSEY 95-103 L
1/21/2011 @ BOSTON 86-110 L
1/22/2011 @ PHILADELPHIA 85-96 L
1/25/2011 @ LA LAKERS 91-120 L
and they've only won one game against a decent opponent (Denver) since then. Kings just seem like one of those teams that can suddenly explode for a good game to me... this is a no play for meComment -

now you got some valid reasons why people choose not to bet on the team you are on so why spend the time insulting and hating when clearly you asked a simple question to begin with.
deep down i think you regret betting on the team you questioned from the beginning to be honest
but thats just what i think and it doesnt matter
and sorry i definately do not tail anyones picks on here especially from someone with the record of over a dozen games. people like you come and go.
so go on bro and good luckComment -

#110Guys, I think politicin is a wagering genius. His "contrarian"/situational style reminds me a bit of Lakerboy (it might even be LB who knows). Plus he is into real hip hop, so that automatically makes him way cooler than many others on this forum. I'm prolly gonna tail you on this play son. Let's get this paper.
Also fellas, take a look at the forum by "VTranX". Looks like he's onto a very good point total projection system. We have some smart individuals stepping in to fill the void that has been created with the departure of LB & Lyons. And of course most of you check out the veteran "sweetjones55". His thread is classic.

#113REAL hip hop was in its prime WAY earlier silly. I'm talking about the classics from the 80's, 90's, and a much smaller handful in the 2000's. That new-age Soldier Boy crap is what the kids listen to now. So I'm actually an old school dude. Get your facts straight. You obviously don't know anything about urban music.

#120'cept he left out where it ALL began... THE SEVENTIES.....
Anybody understand the importance of the blackout of '77 in the big picture of hip hop? When all those poor kids from the bronx, queens, etc... looted all the pawn shops and electronics stores for all the gear they could never afford on their own? And then started pluggin em into streetlamps and gave the world hip hop?
THAT is some REAL "GANGSTA" sh t...
don't even get me started on the beginning of the use of the "breaks"... purrrrrrre genius...Comment -

#127I'm now convince politicin is a white kid from Connecticut. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but most black people dont know shit about hip hop in the 80/90s even if they grew up back then.Comment -

Very sharp point, demens... also why hip hop sucks these days... no art form will continue to evolve/progress at a steady rate when most of the participants are unaware of the history, regardless of their color (i blame the ignorant white artists/supporters, too... ignorance amongst an artistic community is ignorance no matter how you slice it). but you're right, unfortunately... even a lot of the black artists that eat/sleep/breathe this sh t (and whose community and culture birthed this beatiful child) have no idea about this stuff and don't care to. so sad.
certainly can't speak for poli (nor do i care, honestly), but i'm as white as the inside of the potatoes my irish grandmother used to feed me.Comment -

#132Speaking of white dudes from Connecticut, I do have to say that Apathy is maybe the best rapper from Connecticut (I should've replaced Necro with Apathy in that earlier list that I put out of decent white rappers lol).

#138I'm on the Jazz here. Everyone giving the Kings too much credit. Granted they are playing better ball now, but they are overvalued here. Jazz suck on the road, but I have a strong feeling the Jazz roll the Kings tonight. I had the same feeling about the game last Friday when the Spurs were only -4.5 against the Kings and held off because of talk of letdown, Kings playing better, blah, blah, blah. Not going against my feeling tonight. Kings are my team, but the Jazz seem to always give them problems. Jazz ML for me. GL.Comment -
