Thanks Sawyer...I agree with another poster. you can simply post the systems as they are. There are alot of sad children or the same sad child posting in this thread. The adults appreciate all you work and look forward to your FREE plays.

#1892Hang in there Sawyer. You're going to have good runs and dryspells throughout the season. It comes with the territory. Best to keep sticking with what you know that works and keep moving along. It will play itself out by seasons end.Comment -

#1893S you do not have to justify yourself. Those who follow you and your pics, very well know how big "player" you are, and those who criticize you .... just do not have to enter your post.

#1899OK, here's an idea. I know this is a free forum but there has to be ground rules. If you are an idiot with an IQ of 60 that thinks anyone should be hitting 70% AND you decide you have to open your mouth and bash Sawyer then you should have your forum account shut down by an administrator/moderator. None of us intelligent people here would question Sawyer's integrity but if Sawyer comes back in December and says his system has been running at 60% since he stopped posting, the dumbass haters would flame him and say he's lying. While this doesn't bother Sawyer, most of us here will stick up for him. He hasn't asked for anything in return for his picks, and to date his picks are still profitable if you have followed him for any period of time. I agree, I think Sawyer should continue to post his plays and let everyone decide but I RESPECT his decision and look forward to following him again in December.Comment -

#1901Thank you for your kind words.
My advice is to wait 'til December or January but if you insist,
There's only 1 system play for today. Saturday's System Play is Hornets vs Blazers Under 189. (188 & 188½ also ok)Comment -

#1910The "haters" are simply degenerates who can by no mean think for themselves. After all, this is a gambling forum so there are bound to be a lot of misfits on here trying to make a quick bob. I followed Sawyer closely and the end of last season and his plays were always spot on. My best advice is to cap the games yourself and then use this thread to compare plays. If Sawyer has the same play as what you've capped, then it's usually a solid play. If it loses, then at least you know you haven't just followed blindly and that two heads have combined to make the play rather than one. No blame, just a bad play.

#1918Sawyer, your longterm winrate and your winrate over 43 games can vary drastically. Even with a 60% winrate longterm you will have loosing stretches for far far far longer then 43 games. I can do the exact math if your interested but from looking at it briefly you need to be ready for winning %'s of less 50% for sample sizes of 100+ games. We are not even close to that.
For larger samples:
e.g. 200 picks going 99-101 the chance is only 0.62%;
e.g. 400 picks going 199-201 the chance is only 0.002%
But the inherent assumption is that the system is consistent in its edge (60% win rate) over those 100+ plays. This is what Sawyer will be tracking (I assume). Depending on his system and what data it uses, he could back-test against historic data, but I would assume that if he could do that he would have done so already. Sawyer seems to know his stuff from what I have read on this forum.
I have a system of my own that I followed "on paper" for last year that was quite successful, but it relies on teams having played around 20 games or so. It would be really unreliable if applied in November where stats are very volatile.Comment -

#1922Yeah, 0-6 can happen anytime, I know. But the best thing I love about this system is, stability. I don't remember wild days like 5-0, 6-0 but I don't remember any 0-6 streak last season either, if my memory serves right. If you like hard work, you can search through statfox archieves, my system plays last season.
I wish everyone a profitable weekend.Comment -
