Yes Gasol and the bench need to step up in order for Lakers to win, even if Kobe does another great game. But will they be ready? They haven't been ready for the last 2 games.

Okey yes kobe might make a clutch shot in the end of the game but he won't win the game by himself. He needs Gasol and the rest in order to do so. First you wrote that he would win the game by himself now you write that he will win it by himself in the last 2 minutes? He still needs Gasol and the bench... And Kobe might not do another 38-point game. Who will then score? Just as I wrote, Boston might have figured them out. kobe is lonely. Rondo, Allen, Pierce, Garnett is not.

Sure Boston might lose, but it's always funny to see how certain you seem of some things. Boston can take this, they have all the momentum.

J-Dizzle I will do a write up for this game, Lakers are gonna go back to the triangle and stop using Bryant only in iso sets. Plus they figured out how to get Bryant iso's closer to the rim, everyone on LA will be ready to go game 6.

But its Boston's to lose. They will use all their gas in game 6.

Both teams took 1 on the others court. Bak to La to close it out. This is why the 2-3-2 format Is so fvcken stupid and benefits the lower seed more. No worries, LA will win both at home.

Agree 100%. I thought that was the only way Boston could win the title after game 3 is to win next 3 in a row. But Lakers will get the final laugh this year because of home advantage and refs prefer treatment in critical game 6.

Was anyone else who backed LA for the series concerned about Phil being caught on mic toward the end of the game, when LA was closing the gap, saying "Boston has lost more games in the 4th quarter than any other team. They're showing us they know how to lose." Talk about bulletin board material. Could really get the Celtics even more motivated to finish this series out and play strong till the end.

I know most of you don't care about his opinion but the few of you who may - Donaghy is now convinced it goes 7. Up until game 3 he always said 6 or 7. After that he refused to give out any info about what he thought because of his whole I hate gambling thing since too many people were harassing him constantly for his pick. Now he's saying 7. I'm getting my money back on this game. If I lose it, so be it, but this guy hasn't let me down yet when I've looked at his picks.

I have to agree.. especially if Bavetta is in.
very small on Celtics tomorrow night
big bet is on series and keeping powder dry for gm 7
if it gets to 7 i think the refs will play it square and not favor either side.

I assume you're going ML. I also put great stock in what Donaghy says, but his picks have been straight up, not ATS, right?

Yep, ML. He never talks about the spread, totals or anything like that. So unless you're going to lay a lot of juice on this one, his pick may not be helpful to you.

Thanks for posting that for me!! I was literally going to start looking for your other post about this because I'm going to do the same. I think that's the only way to go. If I lose, I still have my Boston series bet to recoup 1/100 of my losses

If the ml is too much juice, you always buy points. Maybe to a -3 or -2.5 game. or even 1.5. I'm just planning on taking a big series bet and play small on tomorrows game.

IMHO, this is the play to make. Way too much chalk to take Lakers ML, and I wouldn't touch a side in either of these games (if it goes 7) with a 1,000 ft. pole.
