I gotta go on record against the PC play tonight. Utah looks like a great pick to me. Utah at home are nasty, and they have been playing pretty well lately too. boozer is back and that will help. plus, with the owner dying, I think they've been playing the whole "emotional win" thing lately.

Man, I'm having trouble with these "system" plays....yesterday my gut was telling me Rockets all the way...but I went with the system....and lost.
Today my gut tells me Utah....but I will probably wind up picking Atlanta because of the system.
I know the system plays are set up for the overall long-haul, but it's hard betting them when your gut is telling you something else.

Melo played against Milwaukee yesterday so he should be fine but yes, he's still banged up. Martin is supposed to return tonight after sitting out with back spasms Sunday. Nene Hilario actually tweaked his knee yesterday and his status for today's game doubtful. They're calling it a bruised right knee but the Nuggets trainer said, "It doesn't look like anything structural, but it's hard to evaluate when it's so sore." More updates should come later in the day.
Andris Biedrins is supposed to make his return tonight vs the Clippers as he went through a full practice Sunday. Monta Ellis is out one to two weeks with soreness/stiffness in his ankle.
I'm reading on Rotoworld that Thornton and Camby are questionable for tonight's game vs the Warriors. I do not see anything yet regarding Baron Davis' status.

I loved Atlanta even before CK said it was a PC play. Does anyone know how much emotion was involved in winning the other night for your owner? Now just 2 days later a funeral,ect ect they is no way they can recapture that emotion,its human nature,their owner died,he was by all accounts a great owner loved by everyone,this will weigh on this game,they will have a HUGE emotional letdown tonight,I really think the Hawks win outright.Comment -

New Orleans is the wrong call tonight.
I really feel for those who think that taking the Hornets minus the chalk is a free fried chicken and mashed potatoes dinner pick. This one is the sucker bet of the night. I think that curious summed my sentiments up best when read him mentioning on his thread that "Sacramento is 3-1 ats coming in and New Orleans is 2-4 straight up.
