T.A., believe it or not, it has gotten better here. before the a.s. break it was sad with all of the haters and beraters strolling thru here just to piss on someone when they lost on some action. hopefully that will stop as uncle willie bee is keeping a close eye on this thread.

i like portland tomorrow to manhandle the grizz. with or without oden, i really think it will come down to portland's ability to close out games vs the grizzlies complete inability to do so. portland wins 60% of their 4th quarters, while the grizz win 40% of theirs. as a side note, when the grizzlies lose, they lose by an average margin of 12 ppg (if my math is right), so you tell me who the grizzlies are actually playing when they win those fourth quarters. portland will easily be able to stay in this one long enough to turn on their fourth quarter jets and finish off the grizz, who are probably still catching their breath from that blowout loss to utah. interestingly enough, the fourth quarter was by far their worst of the game even though it wasn't really out of reach up until that point...hmmm...
ok, i have to do this. i'm going to be on memphis -26 against smu. i have a personal score to settle between me and the linesmaker. i have only bet on one memphis conference game this season, and i took a loss against smu. it just so happens that's one of three conference ats losses the tigers have had. when memphis has an off night on the road in conference, when they face that same team at home it is lights out. i have nothing hard to back that up, it just is what it is. (i can point to tulsa for those of you who still have that in your short term memory banks.) now i feel like i'm being dared by the linesmaker, and i also think i'm facing a purposefully inflated line, but i ain't scared. i do not recommend this play...this is between me and him...Comment -

the nets will be on a btb coming off a game tonight vs the rockets - they will now catch a dallas team that owns them at home (3-1 ats - winning those 4 games by an avg margin of 15ppg). revenge angle at play as well, with the mavs losing by 24 at nj earlier in the year. projected line of -10.5.
