Because they will be up for this game after last year's playoffs. They folded at OKC with this game in mind, they have had this one marked on their calendar from the day it came out, trust me. Heat are in coast mode and have not shown anywhere near maximal effort so far this year, and even in terms of their level are not yet where they will be in a few months. Also, the matchup problem is well documented and the Pacers will beat them up down low and on the boards as they did in the playoffs last year.

I have a situational angle, a matchup angle, as well as getting what is (currently) the better team at home. So huge bet in order.

looking at wolves also for a potential 3rd play for 1 or 2 units but not sure yet. either way my night will depend largely on the pacers.

What makes me mad about this game is that if they lost by exactly one so if I had taken the pts I would have won.

It was a bit unlucky considering nate probably got away with a foul on the last play and on the one just before wall blew a relatively easy layup. I'd say I was probably on the right side that led throughout and perhaps should have won at the end. But I wouldn't go so far as saying it was a bad beat, it was a dogshit game, the "right side" was probably not to bet on it altogether on second thought. Denver also made countless dumb plays at the end so backing them and losing would have been pretty infuriating too.

The Heat are actually always very good to me. Won huge on them in the 2012 finals, cleaned up the Pacers/Heat series last year betting game by game, won huge in the finals last year (albeit luckily there), have already won 17x fading them big time this year (11x @ Nets and 6x @ Bulls). And perhaps most importantly they lost to my fav team mavs in the 2011 finals

It sounds like the Heat are to you what the Clippers are to me. They buried me in the 2012 playoffs when i bet memphis in most games, during the whole 12/13 reg season whether i bet them or faded them, and the 2013 playoffs when i bet them huge for the series. This season it started out being the same shit but the past 2 weeks they've started behaving. Don't give up on your bogey team, they eventually come through.. lol

Warriors and Bulls could be plays tonight. Gotta think about Warriors (especially as I don't like fading Dallas in big games but I will if I have to) and waiting for a pinny opener on the Bulls. I think they could put the nail in Woody's coffin. Both teams off a bad loss last night and a couple of bad losses overall but the Bulls have the pride to come back from that, not too sure about the Knicks. Warriors have been struggling this year but they are going to go on a run at some point and should be able to run and score on Dallas. Main problem is they are off a EC road trip.
