Most Efficient Player Injury - New Orleans
Hi Guys,
I should have made a note of this in my earlier posting. New Orleans' most efficient player, Anthony Davis, is out. He has been out for the last 5 games, therefore the consequent effect on the spread line has had sufficient time to settle down. However, according to the pdf, the team should be filtered out, which is what I shall do for the record. This filter applies only to the Currently Published Morrison System. The 1-7-5 System is unaffected, as the back testing did not account for player injuries.

That's true, they did indeed cover the spread with a 3 point buy. However, strictly speaking they were filtered out of the Published Morrison System before that game due to the most efficient player injury. I don't make the rules, Morrison does. Also, without the point buy, New Orleans narrowly lost to the spread, which then filtered them out of the 1-7-5 Filtered System with a 1.1 unit loss. The Philly series is looking way better than the NO series or the Sacremento series. Which I did play the NO and lost on the C bet. So fingers crossed it doesn't happen again. I think the next iffy series is Charlotte starting on the 28th.Comment -

I felt that there was no way Sacremento could cover a 10pt spread against the Heat but I made the bet anyway to stay true to the system. But with the NO bet and this, that's a shit ton of loss. Hopefully I'm able to recover it in the next few plays. A few knocks are bound to happen here and there

That's what I love about the 1-7-5 system. Morrison's traditional system, the safer one where you have series' filtered out and you buy points, filtered out the New Orleans series and saved those following it from a loss. However, it's still down 26 units while the 1-7-5 system is up 31 units. It doesn't always pay to play it safe.Comment -
It comes down to the simple fact that Morrison only cares about what the record looks like and not what the actual cash won is. The rules of his system are to help keep the record clean and nothing else, whereas the method Wallco and myself came up with is actually focused on making money!Comment -
