3.29.12: PENGUINS-ISLANDERS OVER 5.5 [-130] Fleury v. Montoya. Not over thinking here. Fleury got ripped for five goals when they met last time out. He has now given up at least two goals in six of his last seven starts. Montoya got in to the Pens game after Nabokov got hurt and made 21 saves on 22 shots. Still, in his last five starts he has only allowed less than three goals - once. Pens are still on an insane clip offensively with three goals or more in eight of their last nine with seven of those seeing them score four or more. They have given up at least two goals in eight of nine. The Isles have scored three or better in seven of eight, while giving up at least two goals in ten straight.

First play I made today! I agree with you, ride that Pens train 'til it runs out of gas. Good luck tonight.
(Appreciate you and others who post regularly in the tennis thread; good change to be made there and it helps that those with knowledge of the sport, especially lower levels, share their thoughts. )

Wouldn't it just be 100 for what you won? I know you would have sent 115 if it lost, but we didn't exchange any points [so there is no original amount to return] so all I should be giving you is the winnings of your wager ... no?

You're right. It's actually 95. I got confused by the risk amount.
100 winnings-5% you keep=95.

3.31.12: SENATORS-FLYERS OVER 5.5 [-140] Big chalk here, but I still like it. Anderson v. Bobrovsky likely. Anderson is confirmed. Bob is likely w/Bryzgalov resting until Tuesday probably with the foot issue. The other option would be Bacashihua which wouldn't change my opinion on where this game may go. Anderson has given up ten goals in three appearances vs. Philly this season. He has allowed seven goals in his last two starts after a run of four starts where he didn't give up more than two goals. Bob is in off a solid performance against Toronto, allowing just a single goal. Prior to that though, he had allowed three goals or more in seven of his last eight starts. In his lone start at Ottawa last October, he allowed two goals. Both offenses come in hot. Ottawa has scored 14 goals in their last two games after a drought that saw them score just twice in three games. Even with that cold stretch, they have still scored two or more in seven of their last ten. The Flyers scored seven on Toronto and have 14 goals in their last three. They have been fairly steady with three or more goals in six of their last nine. Ottawa has allowed 17 goals in their last five. Philadelphia has allowed has been pretty stout defensively, but let's remember a lot of that work was with Bryzgalov between the pipes too. Bob's GAA is half a goal higher than Bryzgalov and OVERs have hit in six of his last seven starts.

Washington G Michal Neuvirth Total Saves Over 24.5 [-115] In three meetings this season, Montreal has put up at least 30 shots against Washington. The Caps have allowed the opposition to put up at least 28 shots on net in nine straight. Montreal has put at least 28 shots on goal in six of their last ten overall. Neuvirth has stopped 61 shots in two meetings against the Habs with 30 and 31 saves in those two games.

4.1.12: SENATORS-ISLANDERS OVER 5.5 [-115]
Anderson v. Montoya. Ottawa's offense has been jumping with 18 goals in their last three games. At the same time, their defense has been in a giving mood with at least three goals allowed in seven of their last ten. Anderson has given up at least three goals in three of his last four starts. His two starts vs. NYI were solid earlier in the season. The Isles have also been in superb scoring form with three goals or better in nine of their last ten. They have also given up at least three in that same span. Montoya has given up at least three goals in four of his last five starts and Ottawa pounded him for four goals in his lone start against the Sens. Look for the Isles PP to give this a potential boost as they have scored at least one PP goal in eight of ten and Ottawa has been taking quite a few penalties of late.

Ducks G Jonas Hiller Total Saves Over 25 [-125] Edmonton doesn't always pepper the opposition with shots, but the Ducks do give up an average of 29 shots per game and have allowed at least that many in six of their last nine overall. In the two meetings this season, the Oilers have put up 36 and 33 shot attempts against Anaheim. They have had a couple of pathetic shot outputs in their last five, but in three of those they have snapped off at least 32 shots. Hiller has had at least this many saves [25] in six of his last 12 starts. Hiller has 67 saves in two games vs. Edmonton this season and has a solid 1.89 GAA against the Oilers in 14 career appearances.

A quick plug 'n play today. Tampa's defense is awful. Roloson starting and he's been getting hammered lately. Neuvirth for the Caps.

4.3.12: SABRES G RYAN MILLER TOTAL SAVES OVER 23.5 [-120] Sabres are giving up some huge shot totals recently. They have given up at least 25 shots in nine of their last ten. Miller was not great against Toronto last time out, but he still had 25 saves on 29 shots. He has made at least 24 saves in 18 of his last 20 starts. Toronto is sometimes wonky on shots, but they have at least 25 in three of their last four and put up 26 or more in all five meetings with Buffalo this season. Buffalo allows an average of 31 shots against per game.

4.7.12: SENATORS G CRAIG ANDERSON TOTAL SAVES OVER 25.5 [-115] Even though the Devils don't always pump out a lot of shots, they have shown the ability to do it against weak defenses that allow for a lot of shots on goal. Ottawa falls into that category as they give up an average of 32 shots per game. Over their last right, they have allowed opponents to put up 30 shots or better seven times. NJ only averages about 27 shots per game, but has 30+ in five of their last eight including 34 shots on goal against Ottawa last time they met in a 1-0 NJ win. In 11 of his last 13 appearances, Anderson has had to make at least 26 saves.
