Guys i recommend using pinnaclesportsbook i just checked the wagers for carolina yesterday(23.10) while on all the other sportbooks the pointspread was from -310 to -330. On pinnacle it was -160. I checked it on betus, betjm, Diamonds and the greek

He claimed to have one system loss last season which made it a profitable chase system last season. I haven't seen anywhere where he claimed it went unbeaten. If Clb losses tonight, then maybe that is this season's one loss. I wouldn't get too disgust unless a second or third loss happens. If it was had 145+ wins last year and only one loss, it would take four losses before you are in the red for good.
I am playing my own variation on it and will chase to the end of the road trip. I actually have three game C's on three different chase systems on the one game. Ana 3 Clb 2 will end all chases.

For those that were wondering about JM stealing this, proof is easily found in the spreadsheet he sends out to you if you spring for the $247 (I am told).

He includes the same mistake FLA golfer makes in his spreadsheet which was easily downloadable in this thread and was completely based on my post #1!

I quote a PM from someone that purchased the JM NHL system before finding this thread:
"I can assure you that JM stole your system and FLAgolfer spreadsheet... if you look on the AWAY schedule, on line 163 EDM @ STL the date should be March 28, not the 18th... verified on teams sites. An error by FLgolfer which proves to me that JM stole the spreadsheet."

Hilarious.

And by the way, Columbus won.

Don't freak out, don't try to handicap the games. Either play the system all the way and take your lumps if there is a loss, or don't play it.

Who knows what will happen but it seems to generate a pretty solid record.

Coyotes A bet tomorrow right? I know Detroit would be filtered out because it is their first road trip of the season, but if you had sat out so far the C bet would be Tuesday. How do you guys feel about them?

Also the Avalanche would be an A bet on Tuesday.

I personally filtered out the Toronto series by the way folks. Good luck to those of you betting it.

I also filtered out a few others earlier this season that won by the way so what do I know.

For those of you that bet every 3-game road series since the start of the season so far, you are 22-0.

For those of you betting the 'official' mcbain system plays (skipping first series, filtering bad road teams), you are 9-0 so far.

This is Detroit's first road series of the season so wasn't a play officially.

You are correct Regul8er, I was using a different site that has been tracking the system but he did not skip every first series for every team in his tracking.

3-0 for official plays following all rules is correct. 22-0 for every series -- is that what you have as well?

Thanks mcbain, I'll lurk around here and there, definately rooting for you guys to have a profitable season. I just don't have the nerves to play this type of system. When Columbus blew that huge lead to Edmonton, I couldn't handle thinking I needed to risk 20+ units to win 1 unit for the entire chase. I thought I could handle it, but when push came to shove, I didn't have it in me to put so much of my bankroll at risk. GOODLUCK REST OF THE WAY.

Rockman, I checked on pinnacle ports today, and the odds are far better than on BetUS for the Puckline, but the Puckline is only +0.5 and not +1.5...Big Difference I am guessing. Maybe a stupid question, can you buy goals for NHL similar to basketball? Haven't seen it on BetUS (would love to leave them but cant yet!) but maybe elsewhere Cheers

I was able to filter out 6 of the 7 losses, cut down my wins to 66, so 66-1 that year... Last year 2008-2009 with same filter is 58-1.

This year so far its been on fire, 13 G1 wins, 1 G2 win and 1 G3 win.

Problem is the juice is killing me, and I don't know if I will continue playing. My MM needs to be fixed... the 3game labourchere is no good for this IMO.

For the Columbus 3-gamer
Game 1; -213; bet 2.13 to win 1; Loss 2.13 , total lost 2.13
Game 2: -262; bet 8.2 to win 3.13; loss 3.13, total lost 10.33
Game 3: -265; bet 30 to win 11.33, potential total loss 40.33

So if you are going to chase, you must be willing to lose upto 40 units while in pursuit of one. And with the odds Columbus got that was pretty close to a worst case scenario.

Average PL odds so far for all plays, Official, unofficial, unfiltered is -228. So your games on the PL should win approx 69% of the time. The PL games so far are winning 68% of the time. So the actual performance is matching approx PL probabilities.
Average ML odds so far are -137 for an approx 57% probablilty. ML games are 3-5 so far for a 37.5% win percent.
So the higher odds on the PL are performing at approx thier stated odds while the ML plays are underperforming.
I know it a small sample size and I also didn't take the juice out of the probability calculation.
