I like the AVS too. Blues have had a hellava week with the their plane issues on Monday, their scrappy game with the Sharks last night, and now their flying into the Mile high city to face the AVS on the tail end of a b2b. Avs on their second home game, with two days rest, and at some point, though the Blues played harder than I thought they would last night, they are going to be wiped tonight. They might survive the first period, but it could get ugly from then on. Blues' best defense has been their offense and I am not sure they have the energy to maintain puck possession on the scoring end. We could see the Blues in a mini slump the next few games. GL with your bets, gents.

Well lots of good info here guys ,and you all make very good arguments for it all
but the only game I have any confidence in is
the Pens / Philly over ,both teams can fire away and although it's not Fluery in goal
still think Philly will pop a couple.
Also you guys have convinced me to try Pitt -1 for 1 Unit as well .

aint never a bad time for a glass of whiskey! btw you tried a whiskey down here in dallas called Firestone & Robertson (bottle has a big TX on it)? GREAT stuff. I'm a 40creek guy (best whiskey for the price bar none) and the Firestone & Robertson is my nice whiskey, hot damn is it good. Best whiskey I've ever tried. I strongly suggest you try it.

Yes sir ,like my 40 creek straight up right out of the freezer. Don't know about Firestone & Robertson never seen it up here in the Great white north, would definetaly give a try though LOL . Goals coming fast in the Pitts game so far. Good luck guys.

its brewed locally in Ft. Worth so I doubt they have it that far north. fairly small company, only seen their stuff around texas. idk if you can order it online or not, guessing no but if you can you should try it

I tend to do better on days with 3 games as opposed to days with 6 or 7. Think I'm going to start only picking three games to bet a night so I can really focus on those 3 games.

Big lineup today, bout to go do some research. Anyone got any early leans/stats?

Yeah I agree with the 3 game thing. Tends to happen to me too but it's hard to pick a few when you like more than that lol I'm still looking into it but I think WAS might have a chance against NJ who's been struggling lately

Looks like everyone had a profitable night last night especially you Stars 5-1!!! Lots of games today and at first glance I'm leaning towards the favorites NYR/VAN/Mtl/Edm. Going to have to go PL or 2 team parlay mode. I think Wash at home is worth a look at -105, Devils just haven't been scoring lately. BUFF fired Head Coach Lindy Ruff, will this fire them up or result in chaos?

NJD is due to bounce back after a couple days off. Good time to pick them with favorably lines against the worst team in the East. I'd never bet on a stinky team with stinky players who fired their coach after 16 years, just saying.

Okay lets take a look at Wild @ Oilers...

Wild are just 1-5 on the road this year with their only win coming over Calgary, but they are coming off a decent win @ home aginst the Red Wings and are 3-1-1 in their last 5. The Wild are 10-2 against the Oilers in their last two seasons and Backstrom is 22-3-1 against the Oilers with a 1.81 GAA, but his status for Thursday is unclear (flu-like symptoms). Oilers G Khabibulin is 1-2 in his last three starts despite having a 1.91 GAA. If Dunyk is in goal his record against the Wild is 1-1-1 with a 1.30 GAA, though this season he is 2-2-2 at home with a 3.36 GAA.

Though the Under is set at 5 here, I still like it. Oiler games have only gone over 5 goals 3 times all season and two of those games were from the other team scoring quite a bit. Wild are last in the league at scoring. They also have only had 4 games go over 5 goals all year, and three of those were from the other team scoring more than them. My point being that neither team has a good offense and the only time their games hit the overs are when they are outscored badly. I don't look for either team to but up a bunch of goals tonight.

Taking Under 5 and the Wild with their 3 days of rest and their 10-2 record vs the Oilers in the last 2 seasons.
