That's a nice boost to have. He has his one big injury out of the way like every season, so he can kill it the remaining.

I try to stay away from Hamilton, he has slumps and injuries that in my mind outweigh his good streaks. He is just frustrating to own IMO.

Alex Colome pitched a gem for Durham last night he should be called up soon. Take a look or scout him in deeper leagues, maybe even in not so deep ones.

Free agent 1B/DH Kendys Morales is expected to sign in a matter of days.

The Brewers and Mariners appear to be the most interested.

Morales will be signed by some team within the next 7 days, how long will it take him to shake off the rust though?

The Johan Santana comeback attempt is over.

Santana tore his Achilles tendon on Friday and is out for the year...

He is done forever, and he has been for a while.

Yeah, I think his career is officially over.

Johan was one of my favorites. Guy had some very nasty stuff back in the day...

There is a chance both Pirates RHP Charlie Morton and RHP Gerrit Cole could be scratched from their starts Sunday against the Brewers and Monday night against the Chicago Cubs because of shoulder discomfort. If they cannot pitch, LHP Jeff Locke and RHP Vance Worley are expected to fill in after being scratched from their scheduled start for Triple-A Indianapolis.

                                I guess not that interested.

                                Signed with the Twins.

Good signing by the Twins. Even if they fall out of the wild card race they might be able to flip him at the trade deadline for some assets if he produces.

must be the most frustrating thing ever for pitchers. I know that it happens to every pitcher here and there but when there are teams that can never score I feel bad for their good pitchers

Twins signed DH Kendrys Morales to a one-year, prorated $12 million contract.
Advice: He'll receive about $7.6 million in the prorated deal. Morales is in uniform and available off the bench for the Twins on Sunday. He'll serve as the Twins' everyday designated hitter, replacing Jason Kubel. Morales hit .277/.336/.449 with 23 homers and 80 RBI last season for the Mariners.

The Nationals are hoping that OF Bryce Harper (thumb) will be ready to come off the DL by July 1.

I'm guessing that Reds Tony Cingrani has made his last start for awhile and is headed for the bullpen.

ESPN site has Matt Latos listed as starting vs the Brewers on Saturday night June 14th.

This was listed on the Status of Matt:

Because he left his last rehab start with a cramp in his calf, Latos (elbow) will make another rehab start Monday but isn't happy about it, the Cincinnati Enquirer reports. "The cramp happened; it was minor," Latos said. "They took me out as a precaution. I didn't want to come out. It's pretty bogus I have to go on another rehab assignment. But it it is what it is. I don't make the decisions around here. I'm a puppet on a string. I get told to do what I need to do and I do it."
