I'm obviously surprised by the lopsided nature of this game, but not at all that Louisville is winning. Florida spent half of its season asleep at the wheel against non-"elite" competition, the QB matchup was lopsided coming in (especially with Bridgewater healthy), and as far as I'm concerned, Strong is 10x the coach Muschamp is. Combine that with Strong's UF ties and the Florida kids on his team that weren't "good enough" to be Gators, and you have all the motivation you need.
I honestly at one point thought of doubling the +14.5 bet, but my confidence wasn't exactly high coming into this game. It caused me to pass on all of the Wisconsin live bets I could've made last night too. Oh well -- you know how that goes. We've all been there.Comment -

At times nature can be cruel, but there is also a raw beauty, and even a certain justice manifested within that cruelty.
The alligator, one of the oldest and ultimate predators, normally considered the 'apex predator', can still fall victim to implemented 'team work' strategy, made possible due to the tight knit social structure and 'survival of the pack mentality' bred into the canines.
See the remarkable photograph below courtesy of Nature Magazine. Note that the Alpha dog has a muzzle hold on the gator preventing it from breathing, while another dog has a hold on the tail to keep it from thrashing. The third dog attacks the soft underbelly of the gator.

just goes to show you how vegas makes their money bc this line should have been no where near what it was....florida is not a good team, you cant be a good team with a qb like driskel, ya he can win some games and shine against bad defenses but any defense worth talking about can easily shut the offense down, they may have gotten lucky with a trick play TD/speed/mismatch here and their during the season ( like the minter injury in lsu game) but in the end a bad offense is a bad offense and you need an offense in order to compete.......

Well, Florida did have four wins over Top-12 BCS teams. Louisville's schedule, on the other hand, was one of the worst in the nation.
UF's defense is elite. The line was inflated, yes, but it's not like you can make the third-ranked team in the country -6 against a team that wasn't even in the Top-20 and limping into their bowl game.Comment
