great start to the bowl season bud! im 100% with you on IOWA and that's very unusual for an SEC lover like me, but with mettenberger out and the performace of iowa in the last few games, I think +7 is a hell of a good number, especially with the coservative play styles both teams are known to have (lsu not so much this year but Im pretty sure that's gonna change this game with mettenberger out)....I was really surprised when the line was realeased I thought the number would be a lot lower but then again the books are probably expecting the SEC money to give them even money regardless when playing a big10 team im sure there's a lot of dumbasses putting money on LSU for that reason alone....definitely pounding +7 and a sprinkle on ML

Hey Smut! Yeah, surprisingly, over on snowy NFL games does very well (particularly given that they seem to provide extra value when people gravitate to under due to bad weather). Wish I had specific numbers, but i've seen some on twitter last month or so that show solid over trends in such spots.

Haven't loved many bowl games so far, but Iowa is at the top of my list (along with Bama). Totally agree with your take. Average person must assume that SEC >>>>>> Big Ten, but hard to imagine a back-up QB beating Iowa by multiple scores. Iowa has been a bagful of suck last couple of seasons, but they are very solid this year.

Definitely a scary first drive. Like you, i was concerned as one of the hallmarks of the Paul Johnson offense is playing like shit in bowls, particularly against athletic opponents, when the opposition has time to prepare for the triple option. I felt much better after drives 2, 3 & 4 went 39 yards on 19 plays (yes, i'm big dork who tracks shit like that at work).
