Being excited about the Papazian fight, in a thread, I said "Papazian will judo throw him and get an armbar or something" in the similar manner I would say "Griffin is gonna be dunkin' ALL over Howard ALL night tonight!!" if the Magic were playing the Clippers. Sure, it's POSSIBLE that could happen, but unlikely.
There was no exaggerated fan talk in the write-up for the fight I posted in my thread. I provided my actual thoughts on the fight, and it was clear that I liked the fight going the distance. The fact that you pin-pointed that line out and ignored my actual write-up of the fight is ridiculous. You should have compared that line vs my write-up of the fight. That is the first thing you should have done, and if you were curious, you should have asked me, "Gabe, so you're saying one thing in this thread, and another thing in your write-up... Which is it?" so I could have told you that was I said earlier was exaggerated fan talk and the fight more than likely will go to a decision.

You may well be right, but in the context of how you wrote it it doesnt look like you were just "being excited", it looks like you were pretty confident as you said "He'll" which is He will, which suggests certainty. The same with the not realising that Semerzier was a blue-belt who tapped out a black-belt in Wagney - from how you wrote it it does seem like you were saying Semerzier could never submit a black-belt. MoreBetterness agreed with me on that Im pretty sure 99% of other people who read that would agree. Maybe you did mean it completely differently as you explained though.Comment -

Basically it's all a series of misunderstandings on your part. It's silly to say that I was saying Semerzier can't submit a black belt when I was responding to a post where you said he had submitted a black-belt. My post implied that if Semerzier can do it, I don't doubt Papazian can.
In my moment of excitement, would it have made sense if I said "Papazian MIGHT judo toss him and MAYBE get an armbar!" ??? that doesn't sound like exaggerated fan talk, it sounds like a fan who is unsure and unrealistic. Also wouldn't make sense if I said "Griffin MIGHT dunk all over Howard tonight!!" Nobody talks like that.
Point is you zeroed in on that one line in an unrelated thread and ignored everything else, including the actual prediction of the fight... which is very weird. You would have had an argument had I not publicly shared my thoughts on that fight on numerous occasions, but the fact that you knew how I felt about that fight and still tried to push that 1 line of exaggerated fan talk against me is ridiculous.

Yeah, I did say that I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a submission, but did mention it's not very likely. But yes, I could see how you could use that against me before the fight, but reviewing everything I said now, after the fight doesn't work... because the fight proved that had he not been in a dogfight mindset and had decided to apply some judo, you can't argue that it could have been the deciding factor in him getting the decision.Comment -

Its pretty hard to read what you usually say (as a bettor) because you call locks where you see a lot of value and shit like that that usually confuses other people as to how much you trust x fighter to win, how much value you see and thing like that. Its hard to take you seriously (as a bettor again) because you have to take it as a grain of salt.

Please tell me when V has told me how to maximize my profits. I don't consider insulting me helps maximize my profits. This entire argument started with him insulting me, and he was proven wrong on BOTH accounts.
1) I didn't remember the Papazian line, because it was from an related thread and not from my prediction of the fight, which is what I assumed he was quoting me from. (if you're gonna quote me predicting the fight, why would you use a quote from a random thread and NOT my ACTUAL prediction?!?? either you're retarded or you're a geek trying to play internet bully- or possibly both)
2) Pretty sure I won argument regarding the Shalarus fight since he had nothing else to say besides "you're right," so he dropped it. I was giving my thoughts on Nurmagomedov's fight and mentioned that his opponent has a good training camp as part of the quick description I made for his opponent. My entire thoughts on the fight were only a paragraph, I wasn't gonna spend another paragraph talking about how the opponent of the guy I picked had a good camp when I didn't even provide that information about the guy I'm ACTUALLY picking! Just because he wasn't satisfied with the manner in which I provided my thoughts for the fight, he chose to mock and insult me. I'm not cool with that. That's weak shit.

Yes, I denied the INITIAL time because it was from an unrelated thread and it was exaggerated fan talk and not a prediction, so of course I didn't remember it and denied it, but then you posted the quote from my actual post, at that point I believed you (because I'm a Papazian fan, so it's likely I talked him up) and asked you to link me to where I said it, knowing very well you took it out of context, which it turned out YOU DID. I didn't deny something you quoted from a prediction, I denied exaggerated fan talk you quoted from an unrelated thread, simply because I knew for a fact that was not part of my prediction, which IS THE ONLY thing you can use when discussing my prediction on said fight. But if it doesn't happen it wont count because in my actual thread Im gonna say that the fight is going to go the distance, and obviously everything is else is rendered irrelevant if it's said outside of my "official prediction" in my main thread. If it does happen I definitely wont refer to what I predicted in this thread just like I'm sure you wouldn't of had Papazian won by sub.
