Bud Norris for Houston. Although Bud has been a Cardinal Killer in his career, his terrible road form warrants this. In hjs last four road starts, the opposition has tallied 34 runs. In all, five of his last six have seen the opponent net five runs or more. STL has been a bit hot & cold offensivley, but they have bashed the Astros for five or more in four of seveb this year & Houston still leaks euns on the road .... 7 of the last 10 where they have given up at least six.Comment -

Red hot Tampa gets Tyson Ross of Oakland. His road ERA is a whopping 7.60. In seven road starts, the opposition has only failed to get four runs or more twice. Tampa slammed him for seven runs in early May in just 3.1 IP. Nine of his 12 starts overall have seen the opposition score at least four. High total, but given the competition + Sabathia on the mound for NYY it is a go. Kluber for the Tribe. He has four starts to his credit and the opposition has scored a minimum of seven runs in each start. That's part Kluber and part bullpen that has been ravaged for a 6.99 ERA over their last ten. If you believe in such things, Sabathia has been riding high with run support. The Yankees have scored six or more in nine of his last eleven starts overall. That exact number rings true in all his road starts for the season as well.Comment -

Always a bit hesitant with the Giants @ home for scoring runs, but I think Ben Sheets is hitting a little bit of a wall. Sheets surrendered four runs or more in three of his last four starts. Cardinals have found their hitting stroke again with four or more in seven of their last ten and four straight. Mike Leake goes for Cincy. At home, Leake sports a lofty 5.40 ERA. He's pitched well twice against STL, giving up five total runs in two starts - but he's coming off a poor performance where he gave up seven earned to the Phillies. Them Mets have failed to score four runs in eight straight and only scored more than four in five of their last 23 games overall. Lucas Harrell goes for Houston. He was bombed by STL for six runs in his last start, but had gone nine of his previous ten with allowing two runs or less. A quality start is what is needed to keep the leaky Houston bullpen out of the picture as long as possible. If Harrell can given them 6-7 quality innings, this should have a legit shot.

Pirates Team Total Over 4 [-115]
Mark Rogers goes for Milwaukee. He hasn't pitched overly poorly, but between himself + the bullpen, opponents have scored at least four runs in five straight starts. Rogers is having trouble going more than 5-6, which means several innings against that pen which sports a 4.73 ERA overall, but has been a bit better lately. Pittsburgh has tallied at least four runs in three of their last four and six of their last ten. That includes both games of this series. They have only failed to score four in two of the eight meetings between the two teams this season.Comment -
