I think another guy was asking about umpires as well...you can get all the ump info you need from Covers, otherwise, just GOOGLE "umpire stats" and there will be a ton of sites. GL

We need to monitor the weather as rain is possible. However, my model loves this pitching matchup as Gee is pitching very well this year according to the advanced stats with a 3.17 SIERA, 2 GB/FB and 21% K%. Lee will continue to be great. Kulpa is the ump with a slight under lean and the wind will not be a factor. I have this game set at 5.8 and I am rolling with the under for 1x and possibly more later. Good luck.

60% chance of thunder showers at Citizen's Bank Park,
                  very little wind.

It could all be much worse. We could have a tout to pay.

No Concern that C. Lee is coming off a short stint on the DL?

Not with cliff lee. Perhaps with an average pitcher, this would be a fade spot. However, lee is a top tier guy with the knowledge and experience to know how to properly prepare for this start. Plus, an oblique injury is not like elbow/shoulder injuries which would definitely give me pause. In this case, I am not concerned.

Forgot to post the reason why, sorry. At a client so was being quick.

Thought I read that he would be limited to 80-90 pitches or so today which brings up the bullpen issue that has been horrible for us of late....

That eliminates the possibility of adding any units, but i still remain confident in the under. Good luck on whatever you choose.

I like Morrow in this spot as he is coming off one of his most efficient starts of his career with a complete game shut out in only 102 pitches. Morrow seems be taking a new approach more as pitcher than a thrower and I like the results. Ross has been shaky and Toronto needs this game to split the short series. Good luck.

This is Hudson's third start and I expect him to be sharp against the cubs 27th ranked offense, especially when you consider most of the "new" cubs ate unfamiliar with him. On the other side, the braves are hitting quite well against lefties this season and are quite familiar with Maholm. I have the braves set at -118 and I am rolling with Atlanta for 1x. Good luck.

I didn't see your post in time to make the Atlanta ML (-107) wager. I was able to go to Live betting with the game in the 5th...score 0-0 and make a "Atlanta wins" wager at +110

                                      Was that the right move?

LTA, what's your opinion on the Nats/Pirates game? I lean to the under with 2 weak offenses and the pitching matchup of Bedard vs Detwiler.

I didn't see your post in time to make the Atlanta ML (-107) wager. I was able to go to Live betting with the game in the 5th...score 0-0 and make a "Atlanta wins" wager at +110

                                          Was that the right move?

We need to monitor the weather as rain is possible. However, my model loves this pitching matchup as Gee is pitching very well this year according to the advanced stats with a 3.17 SIERA, 2 GB/FB and 21% K%. Lee will continue to be great. Kulpa is the ump with a slight under lean and the wind will not be a factor. I have this game set at 5.8 and I am rolling with the under for 1x and possibly more later. Good luck.
Good news for this play... Charlie is putting the weakest lineup he could find out on the field tonight.. Mayberry, Scheider and Galvis all in the lineup over guys like Nix, Willingham, Ruiz (and obviously Howard and Utley). Bottom of this order should be a walk in the park for Gee.

I do admit, I did not expect Kendrick to be the first guy out of the bullpen. Perhaps a mistake by me, but the Phillies never seem to hit unless I play an under. Philly unders have just killed us in this short season. Oh well....final play coming up.

Good luck.

                                                                    Play #3

Morrow seems be taking a new approach more as pitcher than a thrower and I like the results. Ross has been shaky and Toronto needs this game to split the short series. Good luck.

                                                                    Play #4

On the other side, the braves are hitting quite well against lefties this season and are quite familiar with Maholm. I have the braves set at -118 and I am rolling with Atlanta for 1x. Good luck.

In addition, while Smyly has the unfamiliarity factor working for him, Vargas has been shelled by Detroit who are all to familiar with what he has to offer. Detroit's offense has been weak this year, but they have a ton of talent and will break out in big way when they do. Until then, I still have to trust them to win this by two considering their talent and familiarity with Vargas. Good luck.
