#1125No that one is going to take a while. It is a 9:40 game and I am still looking at a couple of things with that play. This is not a game we want to rush today. I know it sucks, but check back around 8:00 if nothing is posted before that. To everyone: I WILL NOT FORGET TO POST PLAYS WHEN THEY BECOME OFFICIAL. Every day someone asks, assuming I am not paying attention or forgot. I am checking most of these games several times an hour. If it is not posted official, then the posts, asking whether or not they are official, are unnecessary. The only reason I post early in the morning is so people know a play will be that night. If you prefer, I can wait until games become official to post them for the first time. But I think people will miss a lot that of them that way. I will refer to this post in the future. I am not singleing you out, just trying to eliminate some of the clutter on here from my system so the "JM only" guys don't get too upset. We can't have that. Thanks.Comment -

#1127the word "official" is not located to the right of the (A), therefore, it is not yet an official play.Comment -

#1136The NBA was a whole different set of criteria, we new the plays the day before. This system can be pretty profitable, just one of the drawbacks is all the bets aren't scripted out like other systems. It's been working, so let's just continue this way. I will check in later, I PROMISE.Comment -

#1137I just wanted to say a quick "Thank You" to you, Wallco. You have been very patient with everyone and have been very active with your posts and research. As someone who has already benefitted from your picks, I appreciate it a great deal...and I promise you won't hear a single complaint out of me when we hit our first loss! Thanks again, man!Comment -

#1139Wallco, or anyone else who can answer.
I was going back in the forum and I came across how you were supposed to bet teams that have bets for both the m/l and r/l. and apparently i have been betting this wrong the entire time haha. so here is what i have been doing thus far. for example, phillies last series i would have done something like
just an example and i know the phillies R/L were way lower than this
A bet
M/L bet $20 to win $15 m/l bet, you bet to win
R/L bet $15 to win $30 r/l bet, you bet to risk. what i was doing was takin my m/l "win" and making that my r/l "risk"
They lost, so move onto B bet
M/L bet $40 to win $35 (here i bet to win the total amount of losses for both M/L
and R/L, not just M/L and then +1 unit as i saw you
stated.)
R/L bet $35 to win $50 so here my M/L bet is making up both bets losses on A
bet and my R/L bet is making pure profit.
i'm pretty sure i was doing this wrong and SHOULD have been treating them as two separate chases. this is probably why i had so much juice on philly? but does that mean i benefited more then since i had a huge bet on philly M/L and use that win amount on the R/L which is where we make more money? so i think my error has done me well since thus far, every team has won both M/L and R/L bets. i was thinking about what if they win by 1, what would happen. that is how I figured out that I am probably betting this wrong. thanks guysLast edited by allidoiswin89; 04-28-11, 06:34 PM.Comment -

#1140Jm mlb
As Stevex says, JM's Version 3 almost runs on the same lines. Firstly, though, there is a huge RPI filter to pass through. The sweeper team must be more than .025 RPI higher than the swept team before the 1st game. If the swept team then wins the first game of the series you then chase the sweeper over the remaining 2 (occasionally 3) games. Some of us bet on the sweeper on game 1 and if it wins we don't play the V3 (we've already won with a pre-emptive bet). If it loses, V3 kicks in, but with higher stakes. It went perfect last season.
The RPI filter usually places the match up in JM's V1, so we don't have a record of all sweepers avoiding sweeps on their return series. The historical winning JM A Bets should provide the start point for any stats.
Kev
So then that hous./ phils series last year (8/23-8/26) was the only V3 loss? (if one was playing by V3 system rules, & not fading the 1st gm.) It wasn't a V1 play for hous.(they were .039 lower than philly), & the phils ended up losing the last 3 of that 4 gm. series(after the initial hous. gm. 1 win).
Also, 2 of last year's 4 V1 losses would've been no plays if one had been using the original .010 rpi filter rather than the current .015 filter. The angels were 1, & I forgot the other. Wish i had last yrs. JM thread readily available.
If anyone has last yr's. JM MLB thread, & also possibly the most recent JM MLB PDF (not the pg. 1 post), could ya possibly post both links, or either one? I had 'em both, but no longer.Comment -

#1141Wallco great job bud on the system. Just a few questions and I'm sure they have been asked before I apologize. If our book is offering +11/2 we should take the -1 1/2? Also what is the advantage of betting on the ML and RL for the same team? Thanks manComment -

#1153The funny thing is, all my criteria told me this was going to be a close line yesterday, as I reviewed the teams 10 day performances for the plays. Damn if it wasn't. Maybe I can be a handicapper as well! Lol. Good Luck, bet is official. Sorry it took too long. The line wasn't even the issue, there was another hold up, but it finally worked out. Thanks for the patience today.Comment -
