Should be an over in the Phillies game. Kendrick, good hitting Phillies and a Pirates team who gives up alot of runs...

Im thinking bout picking the Phillies today, but im not shure bout Kendrick. I think hes the biggest weak point in the Phillies pitching lineup.

I like Philli SU also, but not as much as the total. Philli Bullpen should be able to mow through Pirates. Phillies over the last 10 games are outscoring Pitt by two runs per game.

-Over the last 10 games, Cubs are outscoring Nats by more than three runs per game. That is extremely rare, I may have seen that happen three or four times all of last year.
-Cubs have not lost three games in a row yet this year. Are the Nats going to be the ones to make them do so? No.
-Matt Chico got HAMMERED in his last home start vs the Braves, a team that is not nearly as offensively talented as the Cubs. The Cubs over the last 10 games are averaging over 7 runs per game.
-The Cubs are hitting .301 vs lefties, the Nats hitting .232 vs righties. The Nats are hitting .210 vs righties at home! Is Zambrano your average righty? No. He is your average monster who will punish a weak line-up.
-I remain convinced that the Nats are an awful team, and I consider last night's walk-off homer in the bottom of the 9th to be akin to a lightning strike that will not happen twice and most definitely not twice in two days.
-Here's what Matt Chico said after his last start: “I didn’t have any command of any of my pitches,” Chico told the Nationals’ official Web site. “If I did, it was right over the middle.” He has lost his last four starts.



-LA are 9-2 in Pennys last 11 starts vs. COL.
-Redman has given up four HRs in 20 innings. That's one homer every five innings. Who will go deep against him tonite?
-At home the Dodgers are batting .336 vs lefties.
-Penny is 12-2 with a 2.92 ERA in 21 career starts against the Rockies.
-Penny has not given up a HR this year.
-Colorado has lost five of its last six games.
